for the majority of the time he was hurt he held on, which was a very wise thing to do, i watched the fight yesterday and his legs were still unsteady 20 seconds after the 2nd right hand landed (Mosley obviously hits very ****ing hard). Floyd starts throwing again after coming out of the clinch and you can still tell he was unsteady, its fair to say Floyds chin is solid (7 or 8/10) but its not on the level of the Margo's and Mosley's of this world unless we are proven otherwise.

there are several different ways floyd fights, he only uses enough to win so i believe there is more to his game even now then people think.

however i noticed against southpaws he is very aggressive, against orthodox fighters he is more or less a counterpuncher.

the thing is he always surprises u, nobody was expecting him to walk down shane the way he did, and then dominate the way he did especially by not throwing many punches.

he is too versatile but if my way to beat him then i would be loooking at martinez style, someone who is alot bigger

Its not just about how many punches were thrown and landed but also how they were thrown. Floyd may throw the same amount but does not throw combos. More recently he tends to lead alot and throw quick 1-2's. Like i said mayweather is clearly matching pacquiao or exceeding him in the athletic deparment so perhaps he can do things marquez could not.

I dont think hes conditioned for getting hit the same way someone like pacquiao is. We have no idea how floyd would cope with getting off the canvas or being badly hurt. Mosley is the only fight to judge upon recently and a fresher mosley landed a ton on those buggy whip right hands on cotto.

the way shane made him buckle the way he did and then he still won the round shows you how he would react when he has been knocked down. he showed his heart when he got hit, still stalking down shane on wobbly legs.

I feel this is wrong only because i think that everybody that fights Floyd already respects his boxing skills (specially if they watch film). The problem is some guys give him to much respect and over think therefore they throw fewer punches than normal. Floyd is very confident and fights like he knows he is going to win no matter what happens.

When was the last time Manny has been knocked down and had to get off the canvas and show us his how he copes with it. Majority of the times he don't get back up!

No he didn't. The one time he hit Cotto hard the ref stopped the action to clean up a wet spot. Cotto was clearly hurt and retreated.

Floyd ended up dominating every southpaw he fought. Southpaws are harder for every boxer to fight. Even southpaws like manny think it's tougher to go against a southpaw.

Corley did get shut out by Floyd. Chop Chop didn't win a single round. Floyd was shoulder rolling all night vs Corley.

Southpaws are vulnerable to the straight right hand and left hook. Floyd has the best right hand in the business of boxing right now, and he can throw a nasty right hand + left hook combo. They may be trickier for him, but his best punch is the one that gets them the most.

Floyd was great offensively at 130 and 135. He showed he is still great offensively in his last fight against Mosley.
Marquez MOST effective punches were pot shots, single shot right hand
counters, and 2 hit combos. Whenever he threw the combo the first punch
would be used as a distraction to set up the mean blow coming after.
Mayweather doesn't need to use combos as much since he's a much more
    accurate sharpshooter.

Marquez would OCCASIONALLY throw 3 punch combos which weren't always
effective. As a matter of fact his combo punching is the reason he lost
the damn fight; manny managed to catch him in the middle of a combo and
knocked him down. That one point made him lose.

The best punches that night were all in Mayweather fashion.

The one left shovel hook potshot kept from Marquez kept landing all
night. The single shot right hand counter kept landing all night.

Floyd doesn't need to create openings for himself through combos or
feints due to his style. He studies his opponents so well that one shot
is one kill, that one punch will find its mark. His timing, accuracy,
and reflexes allow him to have success by countering with one punch
    only. Quality over quantity.

When Floyd does need to throw combos, no one is better than him at 2
punch combos. jab + right hand, right hand + left hook, left hook +
right hand, left hook + left hook, left uppercut + right hand, double
right hand, etc. He opened up a cut right above Hatton's right eye at
will with a 4 punch slashing combo: right hand, left hook, right hand,
    and right hand.

He can definitely throw a few combos if he needs them.

Let's look at the circumstances when when he was tagged by Mosley. Floyd was countered by a punch he didn't see coming, and we know the ones you don't see hurt you the most. It wasn't just some bum hitting him, but the hardest hitter in the entire division. Floyd ended up winning the rest of the round. There's just no way you can call him chinny.

He held onto Mosley to stop a follow up attack. Why would he respond immediately by firing back when his legs were hurt? That would make him get hit even moar. It's common knowledge Floyd prides himself on not getting hit. He brags about who took the least punishment in every interview.
