What the **** are you talking about what I said was how does he have fans after the hand-wraps incident? And what has me not seeing the fight(which I did) got anything to do with that?

Arum isn't a fan. He is his promoter. It is his job to get him big fights and this is the biggest one he can make with the fighters he has. If promoted Berto that would be the choice. Now they can give Pac some bogus belt and call him an 8 divisional champion.

Arum doesn't want Margarito to win. Hell he probably wants him lose and retire so he doesn't have to deal with him. Much like how sports agents back their client no matter what Arum will do the same with Margarito because they have a contract with each other. And Sadly Margarito still has a following.

Don't get confused with business and affection. Arum probably could care less about any of his fighters. He will back them as long as they can earn and than move on to the next guy.

 

Count me as a fan,too. Always liked him. He will struggle with Pac's speed, though. Margo is fairly slow.

 

Arum knows that Margo's career is on the slide another big loss would probably be it for him. So like any promoter they see their fighters as investments/cash cows and old Bob is trying to make some fat cash with Margo while he still can.
