horrible mismatch and a joke of a fight. vitali by easy stoppage. p.s. dont ask me who i think vitali should fight instead, just look at my posting history as im sure its been covered a million times already.
Actually Vitali will not see the second round, unless Briggs is feeling merciful. In that case he will knock Vitali out in second or third.
Vitali will very easily outbox, set-up and knock Briggs out. Briggs might run out of gas from the ring walk! Briggs is a good fight for Vitali, Briggs will make Vitali look good, really fantastic! Incredible knockout it will be for Vitali.
Well he's the man to beat. I would prefer Briggs to fight Valuev, there he could get some fame by knocking out the towering Beast from the east. I think he would stand a good chance achieving that with his two handed power, handspeed and the fact that Valuev is rather slow + a huge target.
Briggs had a lot of talent when he started out, has faded steadily over the years. He promotes self well, and promotes matches well, in ring he now sucks. He's pro almost 20 years now. This will likley be last big payday.
Vitaliy KlitschKO by the way of KO. No way Briggs goes 12 rounds with Vitaliy. I would rather see Vitaliy against Haye or Valuev but those guys are running scared so let's give Briggs the chance.
yea but Vitek doesnt have many options, and if anything, this is a joke of a division. as poor as this division is.....Briggs is a pretty decent opponent if guys like Valuev and Haye dont want none.
Yes, at least Briggs still seen as a world class contender, as he is not known for being outclassed and severely outboxed by anyone in years, or from having a weak chin......... He has a reputation for power and some decent skill..... its just that his bodybuilding fixation has hindered his stamina and punch output so much, he is now seen as a very intimidating *looking* fighter, but also a very dangerous fighter with great power, but one that can't endure a long fight. That kind of dangerous and skilled opponent with a big name and a big mouth, and lacking stamina, is about the best we can hope for, if, as you said, Valuev and Haye are both not willing to fight. As exhausted as he was, in the 12th against Laikhovitch, Briggs landed a shot that turned the fight in an instant. Let us not forget that the guy's massive arms reallly ARE cannons, even with him exhausted.
that fight was such a fluke, lol. but im not gonna discredit Briggs for that tho. that KO was pretty brutal if you ask me....and it came at the perfect time.
