Margarito vs Pacquaio - fix written all over it

Don't get me wrong, I'm no Pacquiao backer, but I think he murders Margarito stylewise. He'll be getting paid to take a fall whether he chooses to or not.

 

No mate dont agree at all.Margo is many things but no way will he take a dive.They just see this as a fairly easy(cos of the way Margo fights)night for Manny against a known quantitty.The way Manny has been fighting it looks as though he will rip Margo to bits by picking his shots well and avoiding most of what comes back.It could go wrong but its doubtfull.

If there was a fix I'd put my money on Margarito. Pacquiao doesn't need help beating him.

 

They don't need to fix anything. margariTOE has the worse style possible to win a fight against emmanuel.

 

fixed or not, it's pretty ridiculous to think that Pacman can now prolly destory Margarito. i remember a few yrs ago i was sayin Marg's waayy too big for pac. i mean, PED's or not, i'd say that's still impressive.

Looking at how he's Bob Arum's fighter I could understand how you think it's possible, BUT this Margarito is not the same version that fought Cotto.
Cotto fought Margarito stupidly as well. He stood there to much, and traded. EVEN IF Pac fought the same guy, he'd hit, and move a hell of a lot more! Margarito would also eat a lot more leather (not necessarily harder shots), they'd be at angles he couldn't see, he'd be more tired from all the speed that Manny has, and Manny's stamina is just as good as Margarito's. Unlike Cotto he'd not gas out.
Mosley beat Margarito by A. the handwraps screwed his head up and B. CLINCHING! Just wore him out, and beat him to a pulp. If Mosley wouldn't have clinched Margarito would of lasted the full 12 I'll guarantee.
I doubt Arum wants to see Pac lose, but this fight doesn't need to be fixed. Pac is a world class fighter, and Margarito is just an extremely tough mexican. Tough guys take tough ass beatings, and that's what you'll see in this fight. I think it'll actually be a lot better than a lot of people make it out to be, but I'd rather see Pac fight somebody else.
