Damn i didn't know Williams has that power to choose which judges he wants lol. You're a f4cking ****** racist poster that should have been banned a long time ago.
yeah a middleweight belt holder for a long time that neither pavlik nor taylor went across the ocean to face Williams is a 154 pounder Sergio dumped his title at 154 to be the middleweight champ beating a middleweight would be good on his resume at middleweight
Martinez had a full training camp for the first fight to prepare for Williams!? You're a ****ing moron to the bone...granted Williams didnt have a full training camp as well to prepare for Martinez, but saying Martinez had a full one to prepare for Williams just further prooves to the forum how thick-headed you are.
Dude, Sturm hasn't face a real contender in his whole career. Unless you want to count a junior mw way out of shape fat belly De la hoya.
^^^So in hintsight Williams like Martinez didn't have a full training camp to prepare for each other in the first fight correct? <<<There shouldn't be any excuses from either side correct? If so then stop making dumb excuses for Martinez.
This is good news. After Maravilla beat Williams the first fight, he finally can make it official. Glad this fight is close to done. Martinez is a true credit to the sport and one of the reasons our sport survives. I can't think of another slickster in the sport that has the warrior spirit of Sergio. The guy will fight anybody. I will never miss a Sergio Martinez fight. No matter what. We should be able to clone Sergio in order to preserve the sport for future generations.
It a legit excuse. Martinez was training to fight some unnamed low-level opponent and got the call to move up in weight to fight a high-class fighter in Williams, whereas Paul had been training for a high class fight in Pavlik. Martinez faded at the end and gave those rounds to PDub. In the Pavlik fight Martinez shown with a full proper training camp he can go at a strong pace for all 12 rounds. With this fight Martinez will be prepared to go for 12 strong rounds.
Martinez was the backup plan for Williams the entire time. He actually had a full training camp sparring against tall, left handed fighters. Clearly, Williams had to totally switch up sparring partners for Martinez.
this is a good news after some disappointments of not seeing the biggest fight made for the 2nd time.
This will be an awesome fight just like the last one. Seeing as how awesome martinez looked against pavlik this should shape up to be even greater.
