Seriously, I appreciate his technical skills but I rather watch fighters with flair and technique combined.

The only way AA could beat Ward by decision would be due to get multiple KDs. He'll probably have to get a KO to win, and obviously there's no guarantee that both or either man will make it there in the first place.

Dirrell is a guy who lost to a limited world champ and his big win is against a small former MW champ by DQ with no real SMW resume whos big MW win was against who?

 

ward needs to beat dirrel,win super-6,then froch,abraham+bute.sit pretty and wait an see who's next.

 

Ward gets a lot of flack for being a dirty fighter. it's not like he's slamming his head into someone elses, he pins his head on someone's chest and fights inside. I don't really see what the problem is.

I can't believe people are still butthurt about him beating Kessler. I hope Ward continues to perform well I'll root for him & Dirrell when they do fight. Haters are gonna hate so just ignore them Ward & Dirrell.

 

He's young, talented, and a better boxer than these internet warriors will ever be. I understand if someone doesn't like his style but there really isn't anything to critique him about. All of these S6 fighters get my respect for being apart of this tournament and fighting who they need to.

Yeah I agree they can't accept that their man lost to a better fighter so they come up with excuses.

 

Yep. He's one of the few fighters that I look at and see something truly special. He has an incredible amount of experience for his age and he's putting it all together to shut down whoever he's in the ring with. It's that "shutdown" ability that impresses me.

 

Butthurt fans aside it's annoying because reactions to these fighters confirm something that's been happening for years now- the death of the inside game. Boxing isn't supposed to be clean and pretty. The game requires you to be a fighter, and infighting especially. It gets rough up close, and heads clash, people maneuver hands to get in a good hitting position. This sport isn't soccer, or basketball, where you whine like a punkass every time it turns into a mix-up. :deal

If you're gonna hate Ward, hate him for being an annoying ass godbotherer, not on his ring performances.
