Alexander is the better talent, no doubt's about that.

The disadvantage about Alexander from Khans point of view is that they're the same age. If Devon was older maybe Khan could wait for him to fizzle out a bit (Bradley's disadvantage in a few year's time), but considering they're the same age i can't see it happening

Khan's chin won't stand up against Alexander. He will go to sleep by a clean counter that he won't see.:deal

Let's see if Alexander can win every single round vs. Kotelnik then we'll decide where he stands compared to one of the many solid fighters like Khan. If he can replicate Khan's total domination, he can happily call himself the next "solid fighter like the rest", but if he loses a round, I don't know what will he say as an excuse.

Before freddie roach, Amir khan had trouble making the lightweight limit and his upper body and legs were not right. Basically his upperbody was too huge and his legs were real skinny. If you think I am making excuses check on youtube when khan fought prescott.
Ever since amir khan has fought at light-welterweight he has not been dropped or wobbled once. Devon is a good fighter and is currently better then khan. However, a fighter like amir is unique. His handspeed can be compared to sugar ray lenoards, he is a better athelete and their is something else. When khan fought paulie, in a ceartin round freddie told khan to land a body shot. Seconds later khan hit paulie in the ribs and he was down. Whatever the refree says he was down. That kind of talent to be able to implement something straight away is something not everyone is born with. Boxing is a hard sport.
devon is better schooled and he knows his trade well because he has a really good amatuar exp. However, in 2-3 years time I would pick khan over devon.

alexander is just on another level. once khan actually fights some decent competition he will be exposed once again. prescott probably beats him again even now

Alexander doesn't need to win every round in order to prove to me that he will starch Khan, styles make fights. Alexander is equally talented as Khan if not more but he has the much better chin. We all know Alexander can take Khan's shots but we can't say the same about Khan taking Alexander's and that will be the deciding factor in their fight.

I dunno about physical talent. Khan has the edge in physical dimensions, handspeed, arguably footspeed. Alexander has the better chin and arguably better power, as well as good overall speed. For my money though, Khan is a better overall boxer. Devon mentions Khan's flaws but Devon has quite a few of his own. If you were watching the Urango fight closely you'll notice how often Devon gets tagged with a left hook... Khan's got a good one, and it's faster and longer reaching than Urango's. I also think Khan throws better combos.

I dont think so, Khan has come on leaps and bounds since then, much better rounded fighter. Still has a bad chin mind but that punch was perfectlly, timed look at Mitchell and Katsisdis one punch can win a fight, Mitchell has a good chin too.

I agree but Khan HAS been wobbled at 140. I examine Khan very carefully at times when he takes a shot.

If you look into the 12th round of the Andreas Kotelnik fight, Kotelnik arguably lands his hardest shot on the chin he could on Khan and they wobble but it doesn't hurt Khan.

But Khan was still very raw in that fight to be honest and looks physically tougher and stronger.

Khan's chin isn't as a bad as people make it out to be, to be honest. They say Prescott's jab wobbled Khan, yes it did but did anybody know that the jab that Khan wobbled to dropped the person Prescott lost to? I doubt many did.

Prescott has a very crisp strong jab. Plus I see Khan's result of being knocked down to Limond was due to him being so young and plus his bone density increases when he get's older so that helps a person too.

Look at the Khan of today with the Khan of the Limond fight

And Khan doesn't have to have an iron jaw to beat Alexander if he can stay smart nd use his athletic abilities and skills Devon describe as "solid like the rest".

After Saterday you will see how these fighters are using different ways to beat kotenlik.
Amir used speed, movement and some sort of skills. Physical talent.

Devon will use his counter punching skills to catch kotenlik.

Like I said if amir khan can beat a good fighter on physical talent alone, as roach teaches him the trade he will surpass devon.

Devon is a skillfull fighter but he is in his peaked
