David Haye .. Ideal 1st proper heavy opponent

Better yet would be the older Klitchko brother. He could vindicate Lannox while setting up mega vengence against kid bro Klitchko

Kali Meehan might be a good choice. Someone who's not too much of a threat, but is ranked highly and can help him lay to rest questions about his chin. Personally, I'm of the opinion that Haye punched himself out and would be tougher to KO if not in that state and not weight-drained.

Jameel McCline might be another good one, since I'm fairly confident he could beat him more convincingly than Sam Peter did. It's a name that can get him acquainted with the American public, and might be a person HBO might be willing to pick up as part of a BAD card. Rahman might be decent for the same reasons.

I would love him to make one stop off and face a Brit heaveyweight such as Sprott but I would prefer to see him fight Skelton who is our best of the rest. after that a match up with Timur or Brock would be a nice stepping stone.

 

Paul King or Riddick Bowe.

Haye vs Audley would be great to watch.......Haye could be marketed very well in the UK if ITV can pull a deal and bring back heavyweight boxing some glimmer of hope.

 

Part of the problem is that beating Haye doesn't do much for anyone's rankings since he's still a bit of an unknown.

In other words, I don't see any high ranked Heavys wanting to fight Haye for the limited reward it would bring. Why would Gomez or Rahman, etc. want to risk their current ranks for such little gain?

He's probably going to have to fight a few journeyman types to get ranked highly enough that anyone would want to risk there place in the rankings to challenge him.

 

I think Audley would KO Haye. He has a better jab and more size/height/reach, he's a true Heavyweight.

I also think SUPERHEAVYWEIGHT would be torn between two lovers..................:yep

 

No way would fraudly ko haye that is just foolish.

 

Peter would swarm, attack & KO Haye by killer rabbit punch in the 2nd or 3rd round.

 

Audley has skills & power. He's also a full sized HW.
