HBO This Saturday

Looks like they have just slotted the Alexander and Cloud bouts in the programming.

 

Should be a good night with one competitive fight and a rising star in the other.

 

No - Spinks fight is not being aired.

 

I hate Boxing After Dark. West Coasters are forced to wait until 10 or 11 at night to watch the fights unless they have HBO East.

 

I have HBO East, but not in HD. So every Saturday I have to debate: watch it live, or watch it in HD. Of course, if I'm watching ESPN waiting for the HD replay, that's the one night boxing comes across the crawl and ruins it for me.

 

Should be a solid card, I think Cloud-Johnson has potential to be like Forrest-Baldomir (somewhat one-sided, but very entertaining), and Alexander will probably put on a show and call out everyone at 140. Can't wait.

 

I'm driving down to thiscard. ESPN said K9-Spinks highlights will be shown.

 

K-9/Spinks is a guaranteed snooze fest.

 

The Phillips and Latimore fights weren't boring at all. But K-9 is always boring. On one hand, I'm thankful that the fight isn't televised, because if it was, I would have forced myself to watch it. On the other hand, I think just how shitty of a promoter is Don King that he can't get title fight featuring a recognizable name to be aired ANYWHERE.

 

Spinks is fighting I thought it was called off? Just checked on boxrec I guess it will happen. TBH, I don't mind watching Spinks it just depends on who he fights. The fights between him and Judah were good.

i for one am pumped for this fight night....i really want to see what else alexander has to bring to the table and as posted above...if he wins, especially in impressive fashion, expect him to call out EVERYONE.....may and pac included.

havent seen too much of cloud but it should be interesting see how he deals with johnson's pressure. thank god they arent airing spinks-K9....that is all
