EBU Champ Dimitrenko Next for Adamek?

Chambers had an easy night against Dimitrenko, Adamek should do likewise.

 

Dimitrenko can be beat, and Adamek have all the tools but not the size. I think the Ukrainian would be to big for Adamek in the end

 

is Dimitrenko willing for this fight? I think he needs a little rebuild after chambers.

 

Not a bad fight for Adamek after he gets by Grant. Dimitrenko is a step up from Grant and is Klitschko like in his size. Grant from his pre-Lewis days would have knocked Dimitrenko out but Grant is old and Dimitrenko is atleast in his prime. Adamek and his team must not be too comfortable with facing a Klitschko right now because I'm sure he could land a fight with one of them next if he really wanted to. But I don't have a problem with him getting more heavyweight rounds under his belt before facing one of the brothers.

 

My impression has been that Grant is the warm up for a Klychko. If things go according to plan and he beats Grant he'll fight either Vitali or Volodymyr towards the end of the year.

 

This would be another decent test I think Dimitrenko is slightly above Grant in terms of his current standing and their current ability and it would be another good practice for the K bros if he came through it.

 

Talk about getting overrated. Dimitrenko has never been KOed in the ams or in the pros. Hes 6'7 260 and you think Adamek KOs him? I bet you sing a different tune when Adamek cant even KO old man Grant

 

Dimitrenko was #9 in the Ring magazines rankings last month and won the EBU belt this month.

If Ring did a Heavyweight top 40 Grant would still be nowhere in sight. Mike is a good guy but he is not a contender in this day and age, Dimitrenko is.

 

SOmeone else said Adamek was in line to fight Vitali right after Grant.........Now Dimitrenko is in there, too?


Grant, then Dimitrenko......................then possibly Vitali.................

It would be best for Adamek, though to get Dimitrenko in the ring, too................. More fights with which to hone his skills at dealing with big heavyweights..................the extra experience will help him last at least a couple more rounds before Vitali drops him like a sack of door knobs.

 

Man Dimitrenko is trash. He has a weak as chin. Chambers even knocked him down lol. Adamek would tear his ass up. No matter how big you are if you can't take a punch.

 

Wlodarczyk beat Dimitrenko in the amateurs.

unless he admits that he was playing with him for half the bout due to tv contract and commercials fees :yep

 

Adamek is not as good as Chambers.

 

adamek has got this one, but like said earlier good match making as it is no pushover and a good step towards the lords of the division the klitchko's
