Would you rather see Pacquiao fight Juan Diaz or Juan Manuel Marquez?

Well maybe we're looking at it from different point of view.

Even if he wins against Juan Diaz and become a 135 champ . . . the fact remains that the most awaited rematch didn't happen.

That's how simple I look at it.

See what's happening to Floyd? He is now a 5 divisional champ and yet we still hear nay sayers says that he ducked a lot of good competition in the other divisions. :-(

Settle first what needs to be settled and put things in proper prespective. That's my stand.

 

Marquez.

In fact, I'm not really all that interested in seeing Pacquiao move to 135. He has unfinished business at 130.

Marquez, Soto/Guzman winner, maybe an overseas fight with Valero if Valero can't get licensed here.

 

Thats right.I don't see why Pacman needs to move up when there are genuine fights that can be made where he is right now.

 

That made me thinking . . . maybe the story of Pacquaio having problem making the 130 limit has some truth to it. :think

Pac can fight JMM and then fight Diaz at a later date.
Pac and Diaz are still young that that fight can wait.

......but if Pac fights Diaz and prolongs the JMM fight to a later date, more the reason to criticize Pac for beating up on an old geezer.

Fight JMM, if he's criticized for beating an old man, Pac can still validate his victories over MAB, Morales, and Marquez by beating the other good fighters around 130 or 135 lbs, Soto, Guzman, Juan Diaz and what have you!

For legacy, thats the way to go, as there is no doubt that JMM is the more skilled fighter of all those mentioned!

 

I doubt thats the case, but if it is, JMM has already said publicly that he'll fight Pac at 135 lbs, so that should'nt be an excuse for the JMM fight to be made!

 

It would be stupid if they call that ducking, thats what you call looking for greater challenges... come to think of it... him fighting the bigger Juan is as stupid as it gets. but still we have to give the guy some credit for having balls. :good

 

That's the main reason i don't want him to fight JMM... coz for sure those people who will pick JMM to win the rematch will also be the ones saying that "Old and past his prime" ****en excuse! if pac beats him!

Same thing happened when he fought Erik and MAB... it amaze me how easily these people slip that excuse out from their pockets when the fighter they root for lost to pac. :tired

 

Depends how much Pac can get fighting either one. I'll go with the one that gives Pac a bigger purse.

I think its ballsy taking on Baby Bull. that is utter suicide. At least get paid for it though..I seriously hope his mind and body is in shape to spend whatever gets for this one.

marqez is still fighting at a skill level where pacquiao will get lots of credit for even facing him. i think pacquiao is scared of marquez otherwise he wouldnt even consider fighting anyboby else.

I'd rather see him fight JM Marquez because I'd hate to see him lose to Juan Diaz. Pacquaio still has some good years left and I'd like to see rematch Marquez and perhaps then fight Valero and the winner of Guzman - Soto.

Juan Diaz has potential fights against Katsidis, Casamayor, David Diaz, Zahir Raheem.

Juaz Diaz and Manny Pacquaio are 2 of the best and most exciting fighters we have at the moment; do we really want to see one of them lose by fighting each other now?
