Pac UD or TKO---too fast for kirkland to handle. I do give kirkland a puncher's chance that's it.

Kirkland is one hard ******* and has concussive power. Pacquiao is findable and if he gets hit by this guy then he's in serious ****.

It also depends on how Kirkland's jail time has effected him.

My God! Why do this to James....:? He's got a lot of potential so why even think about Manny when Manny would put a pretty severe beating on James? Definitley not an intelligent way in honing and molding a talent like James. Manny's speed would be too great and the movement would only confuse the straight ahead style James has. Manny by KO before the the mid way part of a 12 round fight.

wow. interesting, and to think many are picking Margarito to beat Manny. Kirkland in your view would just get ran over by the smaller champion. Really? Even though Kirkland is a naturally strong 154lb fighter. That can actually fight?

Today, I'll say Pac via UD, although I wont argue a Tko. It would be a war, but Pac's workrate will overwhelm James, but James would have his moments with his MASSIVE power advantage, which will absolutely stun Pac at some points, and possibly put Pac on his ass.

In say, 2 years, James via Tko. (IF James bounces back well from his time away.)

Those people picking margarito to beat manny are just pac haters. I bet if you ask them to bet their house on margarito all of them would say hell no.

IF Kirkland can still make 154lbs...
IF Kirkland's layoff didn't effect him...
IF Anne still trains him, on paper he still can't win, IMO.

He is still to green for the Pac ranks.

I think Pac would have to be close to perfect to win this one. James is much bigger and hits pretty hard. If he lands anything significant I'm not so sure Pac could take it.

maybe i haven't seen enough of him, but his skills at cutting off a ring almost non existent. we're talking about matching an unproven puncher vs. a proven puncher with boxing skills, counterpunching skills, ring IQ and great footwork. a complete mismatch. if kirkland doesn't fit the "come forward puncher" which most of pac's opponents have been labeled as, i don't know who does.

I give kirkland that puncher's chance but i still think pac outboxed him. He has to fight like he did vs oscar. In and out and not take too much risk.
