This is getting annoying. People whom hate Pac keep jumping on the JMM bandwagon...Even though JMM's 50/50 split would be rediculous. In all seriousness though *IF* the fight did happen...We'll say at 135, or 140, and Pac demolishes him (LIKE HE DEFINITELY WILL and everybody knows) will you Pac haters...Who keep bitching about Pac fighting Marg, and not Marquez give him credit?!
Pac is my favorite fighter, and I'd give him 0 credit for beating Marquez at any weight! Marquez is old, a lot of reflexes went, a lot of speed went, etc. Pac on the other hand is like a man who's unstoppable, beating people who he shouldn't beat.
One guy is on top of the mountain, and the other is zooming down in a shopping cart...and if he were to fight Pac he'd look like he hit a tree on his way down from the mountain.
Nobody wants to see this. I really don't want to see him fight margarito. The only thing half way interesting about Margarito is he wasn't suppose to run over Cotto the way he did, and it apparently made him work hard to prove people wrong (handwraps or not). Plus he's much bigger than Pac, and it's interesting to see how Pac will handle him. I won't give him a ton of credit for that win either, but it just depends on which Margarito shows up....

Depends greatly on what weight they fought at. YOu can call Marquez old all you want, but a fighter isn't old until he looks old. And JMM who just fought did not look old. At least he's fighting back at his better weight. He has no business above 135.

They would be clamoring for him to fight marquez now but IF he beats him then he's another guy who was shot/cherry picked and a Floyd leftover. I sometimes wonder if we boxing fans ***** and whine more than ***** lady gaga fans about her choice of wardrobe.

Of course they wouldn't give him credit.
    JMM is:
    He's 37.
Fought once at 140lb+ and got destroyed by mayweather.
    Poor show with Diaz(fat boy)
    No power anymore.
    Drinks ****.

Only ppl that want to see that fight are JMM fans and ***** fans. Because it would add nothing to PAC resume.

And u can just picture the esb forums:"PAC beats shot jmm picking on mayweathers leftovers"

I give hime his credit ... I think the 1st fight was a good dec. Marquez got knocked down 3 times and I score it a 10 6 round ... a lot of people score it a 10 - 7 ... cuz they don't wanna put the other fighter down tooo far in the fight ... but the way I see it pac put him in that hole.. I think it could've went towards pac ... but a draw was good enough ... and u can make a case for marquez ... Now the second fight I think marquez won .. but there were a lot of close rounds so some of the round could have gone the other way ... pac has it on his record and he deserves it ... if its a real close fight like that I don't mind if the fighter I thought won gets the L ... he gets full credit

Yes but not more credit than he does for the first two fights which is why I think this fight is pointless for Pac. However you scored the first two fights is irrelevant. They were close, and could have gone either way, but Pac got the decision. Lets say they fight at 140, if Pac wins, he beat an older, heavier Marquez that he already beat twice at better weights. This fight means more to fans than it does for Pac as it does absolutely nothing to his legacy should he win.

no not anymore, its like giving bhop credit for beating old roy jones

jmm struggled with casamayor and then was rocked and in trouble a few times in the first diaz fight, i thought he might still have it but the last fight just proved it, his timing isn't there and he doesn't have much power, anyone with speed and/or movement beats him, he should stay well away from the 140 division!!!

Pac Marquez below 140 is a handicap match.

No, which is exactly why they shouldn't fight again.

    They're different fighters now.

A counter puncher is the anti venom to Pac's poison.
One of the major reasons I had picked Mayweather beating Manny.

    Credit, absolutely.

You clowns need to realize that Pac ain't gonna drop below WW for any fight now. If Marquez wants him, it'll be @ 147, or, maybe, 145.
