JMM came from 126 moved up 135 and destroyed the beast lighweight, steroids?

 

I think Marquez would outbox Katsidis if the ever fought.

Marquez will beat Katsidis ass. I'd love to see it though, love Katsidis and wouldn't mind seeing him pull it off but Marquez is gonna counter him all day and Marquez even at this age is far quicker/ sharper

 

marquez vs katsidis= guarenteed excitment. Still dont believe theres a lightweight alive who is better than JMM even at this age.

If Khan was to beat JMM it would soley be down to size.

 

MArquez even at this stage in his career will win this comfortably.

Katsidis has no chance. Diaz outboxed him for gods sake and Casamayor stopped him. Although Casamayor has underrated power.

JMM will be countering him so easily. People might think JMM didnt look so good against Diaz but thats because Diaz was fighting very well and using good boxing to avoid a KO. Katsidis can not do what Diaz did in that second fight. Eventually he would get timed and walk into a huge counter.

I would love to see it though. I would have for JMM to be fed to the top guys in the higher weight.

 

Didn't Marquez stop Casa who has never been stopped. Anything can happen due to Marquez winding down and Kast just being a B or B= fighter. I still would see this fight as 60/40 Marquez. Would be a decent match-up and of course Kat is going to call him and top fighters out. It is called a good payday.

 

yeah i am all for the love of Kats..... i see Marquez still just that little bit to sharp countering.

Having said that you can only be a counter puncher for so long... i mean reflexes decide its time to go to bed early eventually

 

On paper this seems like a foregone conclusion for Marquez.

He will walk Katsidas on the counters all night and cut his face to shreads.

But I still want to see it and I still believe Mick can cause an upset...He is going to leave it all in the ring, he may go out on a stretcher but you can't write off a young, aggressive ultra strong guy who is coming to win.

JMM isnt young, isnt a lightweight and is still fairly hittable...there is a chance for Rocky as slim as it might be.
I really think no matter how it goes down this will be a fight we will enjoy...It will probably end up with some highlight reel moments for Marquez but if Katsidis can do his thang, you know its going to be in his usual crowd pleasing style.

 

Great fight I'd love to see it and Katsidis is JMM's mandatory I think so it would be a meaningful fight. JMM would tear him up with his smart combinations in my opinion but it is boxing, anything could happen just look at Holyfield/Bowe II.

Who looked worse at the end of the second Marquez/Diaz fight? Marquez has never looked this bad. His right eye was pretty much completely shut and he had swelling everywhere.

Marquez, after four tough fights in a row, is ready to go.
