Why R people talking like Floyd - Pac is next year?

I doubt it will ever happen. Unless floyd get all the advantages and feel it be an easy win for him.

but floyd has some responsiblity to the boxing fans or at least to his loyal fans to make the biggest fight in years. floyd has been taking us all for a ride with his excuses not to fight pacquiao.

Maybe they can fight in 5 years when the fight is completely irrelvant.

They shoulda made this fight in November like it was originally talked about.

I don't want to wait until Pac gets more and more wear and tear on his body or decides to focus on politics, or for Mayweather to lose a step.

The fight needs to happen now. It's overdue.

To answer the thread question. Lot's of posters on here read something and spread it around like it's a fact. 80% of the threads on here have nothing to back up what they claim.

Untill you see a very credible source ignore what anyone says.

 

If he accepted up until the fight who knows if Floyd still goes on vacation. And he could have done it the first time around. No one was saying no. In matter of fact there's quotes from Roach saying the testing would not be a problem which I believe was said before the first fight was negotiated. But please continue to dodge the question. All I want is a simple answer and of course you guys can't answer it. I'm not even trying to be a Pac hater. If there's solid evidence he accepted Mayweather's testing up until the fight, please show me cause I haven't seen it. If not, I just really want an answer to the question. Why won't Pac test up until the fight?

 

You say he "never" wanted the fight yet went to a mediator to try and work it out the first time, conceded on gloves size, ring size, purse, and agreed to the crazy weight penalty. Manny declined, was dishonest on multiple occassions with the media and fans, and immediately accepted a fight with Josh Clottey?

After Floyd destroys the guy Manny wouldn't fight because he was "too good" Roach's words not mine, he now wants the deal he was offered six months ago? Furthermore at that time when PBF was working with Top Rank to get the fight done, they were equal in terms of leverage, Manny surrendered his equal standing by taking a shitty fight, and leaving himself open to PBF taking a better fight and winning it in dominant fashion. PBF also outsold Manny, on top of outperforming him, which gave Floyd the upper hand at the table. So the deal that was proposed before isn't the deal now, Floyd at the time of the first negotiations was willing to compromise on the drug testing issue because he didn't have the leverage to take a no tolerance stand. No he does, but that's not the real issue, it's a big issue, but not the sole issue.

Top Rank tried to initiate negotiations with Floyd (2nd time) at a point in time when Floyd had bigger things cooking. The deal with Don King, Cotto, and Floyd will net Floyd more money and having the richest fight in boxing history run through the upstart company is simply good business, he gave "no reply" because he wasn't going to fight this fight prior to beginning with King and Cotto. Why break bread with anyone else if it is financially more appealing to run it all through HIS company. That being said, once this is all finalized, and assuming Pac agreeing to USADA testing this fight will happen in the spring of next year, you can take that to the bank. All the Floyd is scared, Floyd is a duck, Floyd is a coward non sense, will look very short sided once all is in the open and the grand plan is laid out. Unfortunately for Manny and many of you here, this fight will happen, and you are going to have a shitty time after the fact.

 

He has that now, and it will be a relatively easy win, he may lose a couple to a few rounds...maybe, but he wins this by a significantly wide UD. He's bigger, stronger, faster, more skilled, and has essentially every advantage you could have in a fight of this magnitude. I really don't understand how or why some of you act as if Manny is so much different than all the other cats that were going to be "the one" to shut PBF up, bottom line Floyd is the best fighter on the planet and he'll win this fight going away.

 

Isn't everyone hoping Floyd will man up? I sure as hell am...

 

The Floyd fanatics are in denial... that is the only way they can cope with Floy's ducking of Pac.

 

Bigger and more skilled I'll concede are true. Faster is arguable I might give it to Pac but I could see that one going either way. Stronger and your ****ing kidding yourself. He only scored a single knock down against Marquez at a weight he was uncomfortable at whereas Pac scored 3 KD in one round against him. It took him how long to TKO Hatton when Pac KOed him in devastating fashion in the 2nd round. I mean Mayweather is an outstanding counter puncher and defensive wizard but his offense lacks big time compared to Pac. He just doesn't have that much power at this weight.

 

Does anyone have any solid evidence Pac agreed to Mayweather's testing demands up until the fight? If not, why won't he? That's all I want to know. I can't get anyone to answer.
