Watch Tyson Beyond the Glory. Atlas tells his side about what happened. I also didn't know that Atlas pulled a gun on Tyson and pulled the trigger for what he did. Obviously the gun was empty but it was a stern warning for Tyson, Atlas was gone soon after.
I read that Atlas came after Tyson with a knife because he had abused a relative of his (possibly his niece?)... I can't remember what book I read it in... I will get back to you on that...
he has meant to have grabbed Atlas' 12 year niece by the arse and Atlas states he went after him with a gun. he also stated that there were also complaints from girls at the school he was at for similar offences. Atlas claims it was kept quiet because Cus manged to convince the headmaster that Tyson was going to make Catskill famous. He did that in more ways than one I suppose.!
From what I have read Cus did a lot of shady **** to keep Tyson's problems covered up. Hell, he apparently discredited Altas after he left, leaking private information and even spreading lies about him. From what I have read Cus didn't even care much for Mike, he just saw the potential for a third champion in him and someone that would be perfect for his boxing system... Cus didn't sound like a great guy...
