Schaefer wants 50/50 and random testing for Pac-Marquez III

I'm sure Golden Boy has no intention in making this fight actually happen.

 

Well yea, they're clearly not on a mission to clean up the sport but they at least have to remain consistent with Pac, but you're right the less they enforce the principle of drug testing the more it is revealed as a personal attack. I don't think we're saying very different things here, I'm just saying I doubt Marquez thinks Pac is on anything.

That means the fight won't happen and Pacquiao doesn't need it to accept such ridiculous demands. Marquez needs this one not Pac.

Marquez has made alot more money with GBP than he ever did with Arum.
At least with GBP, they are letting Marquez have input and giving him choices.

As Shafaer said in that LA Times link, the 50/50 split was a starting point, if Arum does'nt agree with it, he should then throw out a counter offer so that both sides know how far they are.......but Arum will not throw out that counteroffer because he does'nt want it out public the ridiculous low ball offer thats in his mind for Marquez.

For that second Marquez-Pac fight to take place, Marquez had to concede to everything and wound up getting less than 25% of the purse......Arum is surely thinking even less of a cut for Marquez this time around, and that why he wont even think about even throwing out a counteroffer Shaefer's way, and setting up a real negotiation for a third Marquez-Pac fight.


Arum is still dealing with Marquez in the same way that he dealt with him when he promoted him.
......right after the first JMM-Pac fight, Arum offered Marquez I believe was 650K for a rematch with Pac.
Marquez turned it down in the mentality that "we need to negotiate" that was only a 100K raise from what I got paid for our first fight.
The thinking from Marquez was that his performance merited more than a 100K raise from their first fight.
....but Arum like he is now, did'nt let a negotiation take place......he just outright offered the Pac fight to his cash cow at the time Erik Morales and Marquez was thrown out to pasture by Arum without so much as a courtesy call to let them know what he was up too.

Same old Arum still operating today.

 

This can't be possibly true, marquez is in no position to demand anything and shaeffer, as smart as he is, knows this for sure. Maybe another incredible story from arum which peeps shouldn't take seriously.

 

If Schaefer is saying Marquez deserves 50/50 vs Pac and Pac is about even with Floyd, that means Schaefer's saying Marquez would get about 50/50 with Floyd too? What was the split with Floyd/JMM?
