I just got in for the decision, was at the hospital most of the day with my brother, his wife had a heart attack.. ****ed up day.

Glad I missed this ****... Prescott always has sucked, his KO of Khan is the only thing he has accomplished.. he's not really that heavy handed, and he's not that good of a boxer.

I hope the networks give up on him, as most of his fights suck ass.

 

I'm watching on delay and I've wanted to say for a while the FNF commentators suck! I've been watching them since 2006 and Joe's flaw is that he lets Atlas talk too much and Atlas is more than happy to fill the dead air with his terrible metaphors and analysis. The "analyst" talks at least 75% of the time on ESPN and he needs to be kept in his place by a good blow by blow man, Joe is not up to it though, phones it in every week.

 

Dude. Seriously. he's like the guy's long lost cousin. Too bad Gamboa would probably beat his ass up and down the canvas, though.

 

Atlas is the worst commentator out there... he sucks, and he's not good for the sport.

People talk **** about Lampley, but at least he's a fighter hyper.. he's going to try to make whatever is going on exciting.. Teddy on the other hand sometimes won't even talk about the fight that is taking place.. as all he is concerned with is pimping Teddy Atlas.

 

Kinda even too. Prescott is a mediocre fighter with a 15lb weight advantage. gamboa has better skills, athleticism, similar power, and he has a questionable chin. It would be more fun to watch than today's shitefest by far.

 

Presscot is such a horrible fighter, and we are going to keep seeing him on TV because Khan was such a dumbass that one night.

 

so refreshing to hear that other smart boxing fans know atlas is a f'ing hack. Yeah the fights aren't great for the most part but Atlas' domination of mediocrity makes them worse. I begrudgingly picked Cloud for tomorrow even though I love me some Glen Johnson. Anyone with me?

 

Johnson has been in decline, but he'll test Cloud if Cloud isn't legit... but Johnson is slowing down and looking worse for wear.


Atlas is a ****ing hack who rides on being a Tyson hanger-on.

You need a guy in there selling the ****, not ignoring it.

Atlas is like one of those color guys from baseball broadcasts who just likes telling stories and ****, except the color guys from baseball actually have good stories.. not the same 2 or 3 told over and over.

 

I expected to see a 'spoiler' in the thread, but geez..... This is going to be hard to make myself watch it now.....
