Tonight 8/7 Alexander vs Kotelnik Cloud vs Johnson RBR

I'm completely aware that not all of those punches landed. With that said it seems like you like to score fights for the underdog and give them credit for doing something at all. Kotelnik lost that fight in the first half of the fight and started too late. He didn't do enough.

 

Maidana looked better against Kotelnik than Alexander did.

 

I am not worry ALexander will be ko easy by Khan or Mainada and outboxed by Bradley.

 

I couldn't agree more. People here are just doing two things rooting for the underdog who did better than they expected or looking for a reason to hate on Alexander.

 

I knew many here will think Alexander lost cause Kotelnik barely landed more. Look at the punch stats Kotelnik land 5 more punches in total while Alexander thrown 1113 to Kotelnik 763. <<<People will say (But it was mostly hair punches. <<No it was most on the gloves or the arms but still that thrown stats show me with way way way more thrown to Kotelnik landed 5 more that Alexander won this fight. Did i forgot who landed more on power punches? ("cough Alexander").

 

Much, much more better. And still lost...

 

Alexander's shots landed on gloves the whole night. Kotelnik couldn't miss with his jab through the whole fight, completely disregarding the right hands he landed, or were you too busy cheering for the black guy to notice?

 

AK landed clean shots, tons of them. DA might have landed one clean shot all fight.

 

This decision is just as bad as Dirrell-Froch and kills Diaz-Paulie I.

 

Watch the fight already ... there is a good reason why the vast majority is crying out robbery here.
It has nothing to do with the underdog position ... hell even compubox agrees with this (yes its not always that accurate) but it saw what everyone else saw .... Kotelnik even OUTLANDED DA.
He was not only a LOT more accurate he also outlanded him.

Go back and watch it properly ... on a round by round basis Kotelnik clearly outlanded DA in more rounds.

Edit: add to this DA was shown today as a 1 dimensional 1 - 2 puncher with no inside game whatsoever and no plan B and extremely poor punch accuracy.

Yes that's what I'm saying Kotelnik was giving Devon fits with great D but he wasn't throwing enough. He also shot himself in the foot by starting off losing the first few rounds.

I grew up in one of the poorest districts in North Philadelphia. The only white people I would see growing up were cops. Every one I hung around with was black.

When I graduated high school and got out into the real world, I met plenty of white people, plenty of hispanic people and plenty of asian people. AND THEY ARE ALL THE SAME.....race is a made up thing IMO. I dont even see race anymore. And when it comes to boxing I call the fight how I see it.
