I think he's been bored. Hence his shitty recent performances. Maybe this will help him rediscover his passion.

This is true, watch the likes of Vader and Bones take cue from this. In a sport where wrestling is the most dominant discipline, all the wrestler has to do is hone his other skills. I predicted Sonnens domination, but I was weary of that sub. The young bucks will earn from that.

I have to admit even as a Silva fan, it was nice to see his ****ing annoying showboating bite him in the ass.

I also loved how everyone was saying how **** Silva's subs were before the fight.

 

Every fighter has an off day, Fedor had faced great Ju jitsu fighters before but got caught by Werdum, Pen got beat by Edger!!, Lyto laid out by Shogun etc, it's as if all the p4p best are jinxed this year!!, but Silva showed why he's a p4p great, when pushed to the absolute limit he had the answer!!.

GSP better watch out when he fights next!!

Because I knew Sonnen is a stylistic nightmare for Silva and thats why Silva got embarrassed tonight , yeah he won the battle but he lost that war. He got beat the **** up and he had no answer for Chael til he got that weak ass choke

 

I just meant in the comeback element. I was trying to think of other fights but Herol Graham-Julian Jackson didn't really work. Was fairly awesome though.

Also Silva has a good mother****ing chin.

 

A fight lasts FIVE ROUNDS!!, all Cheal did was lay on Anderson for four rounds, that's not exactly a "beating", he caught Silva a few times too but the bottom line is Silva saw an opening and dealt with the situation, THAT'S WHAT CHAMPIONS DO!! :happy .

 

That was ****ing incredible. I haven't been that excited by a finish...maybe ever.

 

Don't worry man your analogy wasn't that bad, Ali seemed to have a set plan for what he did whilst i don't think Silva would have liked being on the ground for four rounds , but i think the drama at the end can be compared to the Ali fight because it was so out of the blue.

 

Silva was getting dominated and then pulled a sub out of his ass. Admirable, impressive, and indicative of champion spirit.

Ali was winning the Foreman fight up until the stoppage, and he was on the ropes because that's where he wanted to be...not because he was forced.
