K_9 worked his ass off non stop even through all the delays and rescheduling of the fight, i train n spar with him at Kronk, nicest guy in the world much love and respect to him he deserved this

 

oh yeah, it was just news to me that Manny Steward was working his corner too. Dayum, i guess trainers do make a significant change..

I saw him on the undercard Wlad vs. Rahman. Great win from him against Baysangurow and now world Champion!

 

I became a big K9 fan ever since the second season the contender started. He may fight boring but damn how can you not respect him? In the contender he was pick LAST PLACE on a team and Micheal Clark who was the favorite to win it all wanted to fight K9 so badly next cause he and most thought it would be an easy time but yet K9 proved everyone wrong in a huge way. Hell K9 lost his first fight in that series in the conference finals in a close one.

 

It's not a change. Bundrage has been at Kronk Gym for years and years. At one point he lived with some other fighters in a house Steward owns, and collected a weekly stipend from Manny for sparring, et. The relationship goes way back.
