Sonnen and his coach Lindland aint exactly the smartest gusy out there. If he had a Jackson in his corner (who is very conservative tactically) could have been a different story. Linland was telling Chael, "youve won all 4 rounds, its in the bag, now attack!!"
Karma is a *****. You talk all that **** and treat everyone like garbage god dangles that prize right in your face then bam with a minute left he takes it away lmao. Whats crazy is after Rosenthal steps in Anderson keeps ahold of the submission and then Chael actually gets out. The "intelligent" Sonnen should have had more "heart".
chonen was dominating the fight. the score would have been 99 to 1 in favor of chonen but that is the beauty of fighting in general is that one punch or one lucky move can end the fight.
I feel bad for Sonnen. I respect him for going for the kill even if he won all the previous rounds. I've got tons of respect for him for that. Still, he lost. The good thing is he fought in such a way that its entirely probable for him to demand a rematch. Hope he gets another good showing if a rematch does occur.
I won't lie. I spent the whole round thinking he needs to do some lay and pray. He already had 4 rounds in the bag. One of which was probably a 10-8.
