Although I haven't scored any of these fghts in a while , and I couldn't bare to watch the Bhop or Dirrell fghts again ( boring as ****) ...

But Hopkins went entire rounds without throwing more than 10 punches. I thought he lost clearly... Dirrell I thought won, froch barely landed more than 5 flush punches the entire fight... And I do agree clottey beat cotto ... But it was close.

Non of those fights can you compare to last nights fight, and trying to do so is a very naive way to look at this .. Every fight is unique and must be looked at individually .

DA showed a lot of heart , and he'll be great in the future.. But Kotelnik dominated the second half of this fight. Gamlber's advisory explains this best ...

You keep posting this, while ignoring BENNY BLANCO's point about Chavez's and Meldrick's face after the fight. You have selective reading.

Punch-stat is useless. Hopkins landed pretty much all of the clean shots, had Calzaghe hurt on 3 occasions, and slipped, rolled, or blocked the majority of Calzaghe's pitty pat flurries, all the while countering with clean shots in the process.

Yes, it was a hideously ugly fight made that way mostly by Hopkins's spoiling tactics down the stretch. By the scoring criteria, though, that was a clear win for Hopkins in my book.

You do realise that slipped and blocked punches don't count as having landed?

this stupid ass dude thinks anything that supports calzaghe is an "irrefutable scientific fact." it's stupid ass fans like you that make calzaghe weak ass legacy that much weaker. in short, the best person he ever fought was a 43 year old who he went life and death with to get a gift decision. congrats, you're great.

thank you. i'd rather be hopkins after the fight than calzaghe. he looked like a fool in there with the old man, and got his ass 'schooled'. if they count the punches hopkins landed on calzaghe's arms, elbows, and gloves like they did for calzaghe, hopkins only misses 10 punches the entire fight, which means outlands the bum despite throwing 300 less punches. what a fraud.

But the problem was hopkins was more or less hopeless after round 4, in fact faking low blows was embarassing, hopkins landed a few good shots early but that was it. Dirrell landed the better shots on froch and kotelnik clearly landed the better punches on top of landing more overall on devon

Why do you keep making this utterly stupid point?

Some boxers swell and cut easier than others.

Got that? It's just a ****ing fact that you still refuse to accept. Ali took bombs off Shavers and Frazier, yet his skin was barely damaged. Henry Cooper had to put Vaseline on his eyes whenever it was windy, he cut so easily. Bone structure and skin thickness decides whether you cut easily or not. Some guys don't cut, some do.

It's not a relevant point and it wasn't the other 475882 times you used it.
