Alves looked like **** , take nothing away from Fitch !!! , you have to question why he wouldnt cut half a god dam pound man , anyway i really cant see Fitch out wrestling and controlling GSP , GSP does everything Fitch does well , BETTER !!!! If GSP beats Koscheck , and the UFC dont rematch Silva and Sonnen then he has to move up , Fitch is the outright undisputed #1 contender , but he cannot beat the champion , that is a no brainer :deal Thoughts ??? ................
I don't think Fitch can beat GSP, I don't think his wrestling is good enough to keep in him down or to get out from under GSP. GSP's only fight left is AS at this point, then he should work on cleaning out the MW division. GSP vs. Vitor is a very interesting matchup in my opinion
No. Fitch never got out of gear 1 because GSP mixed it up so much. Actually, you never know as GSP is wrestling so much now. However I doubt GSP would wrestle so much against Fitch as he tore him up last time. Then again, I think Fitchs boxing is looking good.
Is there anybody else besides GSP that can beat Fitch? I would like to see Shilelds fight him or even Hughes, somebody that can stop his wrestling.
I'd actually be interested in Chael fighting him. Fitch is great, but he's fought guys other than GSP who's wrestling isn't better than his. The one guy in the division who's wrestling is, he won't fight. Fitch vs. Sheilds is an interesting fight and I think that's the fight that should be the deciding fight for number contender.
I would like to see Fitch vs Shields or Koscheck because they have great wrestling. If Shields beats Kampann then I'd like to see Fitch get in one more fight.
Well he can, but not enough to win the fight. I bet he could get an upper body takedown into a good position on GSP, but it wouldn't finish the fight and GSP would then continue battering him.
Johnny Hendricks maybe? Even then, I think Fitch has a better grappling game with his BJJ and "MMA wrestling" He is just the ultimate grinder. Chris Wilson had him hurt, Fitch would blow him out now, but I think outside of GSP, there isn't anybody who is going to beat him with wrestling or grappling. It's going to have to be somebody with a huge shot, who may not be that highly ranked.
