Zab Judah vs Devon Alexander

Now compare that to the competition that anyone else at 140 has fought. You mean to tell me that Khan and Alexander have fought anyone remotely close to those people that Zab fought?

Seriously. How the **** do you scrutinize a guy like him for his resume, and Khan won't even fight Maidana???? Alexander was almost beaten by Kotelnik???? Bradley won't even fight Alexander???

These guys are 23/24 years old. How can you compare that to the experience of a 32 year old? Having fought and lost to a bunch of good fighters wont count for **** if Judah meets one of these LW.

Think about it... there resumes are very similar and zab has 10 years on them.

 

Judah would have beat Alexander's ass last night. Alexander isn't adaptable at all, Bradley would beat his ass to a pulp, he did the same **** last night, jab, jab, straight. Over and over, didn't change his plan up at all. Unless he gets a better trainer he is going to hit a wall and quickly against top competition.

Back on topic though, Judah would beat any of the current St. Louis crop of fighters, he is their kryptonite.

All i know is he is 1-1 against Cory Spinks.

Ward his 2nd best win? Not even close. You say you have seen all of his fights. How did this one go?
Corley a fringe contender? Judah beat the best version of Corley who was a champion at the time and undefeated except for an early sd loss.
Clottey elite? Won the vacant IBF title against a naturally smaller man --Judah-- and defended it 0 times.
Junior Witter? Devon's best win was against an old Witter with an injured hand.

What i meant is that Corley is a C level fighter at best. I am aware he had a belt but i don't take too much notice of belts as it can be won by fighting different levels of opposition. If guys like Ali are A level then Corley has to be C level or lower.

I don't understand your point about Junior Witter. Are you saying it was a good or bad win for Zab? I didn't say anything about Alexander's win over Witter being any good

And i believe Clottey is elite. Just because he got whooped by Pac Man doesnt mean he isnt

He fought them at 147 though and that was years ago. Zab is still a threat and could stop Devon but he has a bad reputation for being inconsistent. If he gets his stuff together he seriously could spark Devon.

 

I think people are a big too high on Judah after beating a C fighter and writing off Alexander as if he were bum after 1 fight. If Alexander can survive Judah's power the first few rounds, i think he outworks Judah. Judah gets discouraged EASILY. If a guy keeps coming at him, he usually shells up and loses round after round.

Clottey is definitely not elite just a big WW who comes in as SMW on fight night. His fight with Judah was close and won by size not skill. He has won a vacant title against Judah and defended it 0 times. Judah was a much better JWW than Clottey was a WW. Judah even accomplished more at WW.
