If pascal beats dawson convincingly . . . . . .

If Pascal beats Dawson Twice, CONVINCINGLY, I would have to seriously consider putting him in the top 10.

 

If Pascal beats Dawson in any ways I will be more than impressed, but please, it's almost impossible that Dawson, a Top 10 p4p, snoozes so much that he doesn't boxe circles around a bulky yet slow feet Pascal in a most probable UD if not TKO by Dawson. But hey, chins could crack, so Pascal could time a solid one if his shoulder is ok, and close the lights.....but I doubt that!!!!

 

Top 10 easy! If he flattens dawson. Like that boy.

 

P4P can be interepreted in 2 different ways.

#1 P4P can mean if every fighter was at the same weight and comfortable which fighter would come out on top. Basically if you put somebody like Mayweather with his skills as well as weaknesses in a light heavy's body would he become champ of that division.

#2 It can also mean which fighter can win belts at multiple divisions at once. For example Pac right now can fight between 140-154 and maybe even possibly 135. Not to many people can spread that many different weight classes and have success.

As one poster said earlier, winning one fight even if its against a top 5 P4P should not put you in the P4P list as maybe you just have that one guys number. P4P should be your body of work and how many different levels can you compete at.

 

What planet are you on? dawson can't be regarded as 'great' fighter, he only has 1 good win on his resume against a weight drained adamek.

Pascal probably would move between 15-20 for me. Tough to place him over the guys who have been winning in the Super 6, among others.

 

I love the kid but => Nope. p4p is two things accomplishments and talent. Sometime guys like Andre Ward can be fast tracted onto that list without that many accomplishments b/c they clearly demonstrate a versitiliy and level of excellence that would merrit them being on that list. Pascal has not shown that type of excellence. His game as too many obvious weaknesses for him to get a fast track onto that list so he'd probably have to clean up his division before he started getting considered.



(oh, and a fighter has to be American if they want a fast tract...forgot to mention that)

I strongly favor Chad and think he's one of the better head to head fighters in the sport- not one of my Big 3 (Pac, Floyd, Wlad) but someone on the level right under where they should be favored against everyone else in the weight range.

So, if Pascal did beat him convincingly, I'd give him a ton of credit. I'll wait to see if he pulls off the upset before I figure out where I want to rate him.

You might as well ask if Pascal wins have of the votes in the general election will congress will make him President of the United States. Pascal beating Dawson is only slightly more likely.
