He walked around when he was a LHW at 195. Has a decent sized frame, and threw on 25 pounds in 2-3 years. I doubt he is a roid head.

As for master of his skill.....No way. I respect the guy for his willingness to fight anyone but he definitely isn't a highly skilled fighter. He had a lot of power at LHW and CW and that is why he won his fights. Watch Cunningham vs. Adamek, without power he would have lost badly.

I probably agree with that. I give Adamek a slight chance against Vitali (age). I'd be shocked if he had a lot of success with Wlad.

Haters are the ones that usually talk about steroids. Golota was accused of steroids too because people couldn't admit that someone could be that good.

I can't prove that Tomasz never took PEDs but if I was to bet my pick is he never did and never will. He doesn't need to.

Thats true, but im also a big Golota fan, but I also think he took roids at one point in his career. Maybe not through out his career, but when the fights had gone to higher calibur fights, like from Pou'Ha to Bowe, he prly took some. Plus, its prolly not like Ziggy Rozalski coulnd't hook him up!

Really not fair to accuse fighters of such a thing, especially when there is zero proof of it.

And if someone is going to accuse fighter A for juicing, every other fighter should be suspect as well. I'm sick of all this PED talk every since that ducker Mayweather brought it up. Does it happen? Maybe.. who knows. There is no proof of the accused taking it, end of story. If everyone wants to be so sure its not happening, the rules need to be changed, otherwise everybody needs to stfu on the issue. My 2 cents.

It's a good bet that all professional fighters high up on the rankings are taking some forbidden PEDs of some sort. I can understand that talking about it is considered bad for the sport but it's pretty silly to assume they would avoid PEDs out of ethical concerns. As long as the PEDs aren't detectable then athletes will use them. We know this from football, baseball, cycling, track and field etc...in boxing also, oxygen vector drugs are needed for the aerobic aspect, and steroids are needed for building up muscle. EPO is a reality.

Not accusing Adamek of anything or trying to impugn his character, of course.

adamek's fought well under his natural weight of 200, as a 175 pounder. and now he's fighting over his natural wieght of 200, at around 220. what is the big deal, and why is that suspicious? we've seen him as a big/drained light heavy, an excellent cruiserweight and now as a lean heavyweight with enough experience, skills and "cheen" to beat a top 10 heavyweight.

yes he is a throwback. he's an elite fighter who actually remains busy throughout every year. he takes at least one tough fight per year. he refuses to plateau, and always finds fresh challenges. he's truly a hardened pro who knows what to do, how to respond, when his face has been made a horrible mess (vs briggs), when he's been hurt by combos (cunningham) and forced into a corner, and when he's been hurt by a massive cruiserweight/heavyweight right hand (banks, arreola). when you look how compettiive his best wins are - narrow decisions over briggs twice, cunningham and arreola - is shows you how fvcking hard fought this man's successes are.

You are very right. In an interview from few months ago Adamek said, that 10 months after loss to Dawson, he made physiological tests and all the results were much better, few efficiency rates were even 40% better. He said that - when fighting at 175 - he had to lose 7-8 kilograms (15-20 pounds) and was notoriously tired and subject to diseases.

There is a link to the interview (in polish):

he is so far as in my favorite way, he fights often...against whomever and anywhere and is exciting.

his greatest asset i would say is just his sheer will.

his weaknesses, its odd, he keeps proving me wrong, i think he's wayyy too hittable but so far with the exception of the cunningham fight (and dawson) it really hasnt mattered,

this reminds me i need tiks to this asap, looks like the cheap and affordable seats might be sold out.

Adamek is a brave highlander:):) I definitely respect him, it's not about being just a fan, i respect this Pole.He is focused on his aims, he is mentally very strong and that is a great example for all of us.

Comparing those two personalities Adamek and Golota I put everything on Tomasz. I was a Golota fan, but now after all those years with Andrew I didnt respect him.I just feel cheated.**** it, bad memories:)

I keep my fingers crossed for TA and his route for HW glory. Grant is a big HW and we will see , can Tomasz KO him. I doubt, but maybe:):)

    Go Adamek Go:)!!!!!
