This is fairly common in major title fights in Eurooe, it's only in the US where you tend to commonly see non-neutral judges for major title fights.

Compare the officials for Alexander v Kotelnik (all American) with Khan v Kotelnik (all neutral).

He's talking about Froch v Dirrell having neutral officials, yet people still perceive it as a 'hometown' decision.

Yes, kill any judge that comes up with a scorecard that contains even the slightest hint of bias. That'll learn 'em.

There was a MExican judge, Belgian judge and Italian judge, and Dirrell stil got robbed in a fight that was alot easier to score then Kotelnik vs Alexander.

How far before the fight are judges picked?

They could have a pool or say, 12 judges from whom the final 3 are picked, and they're not chosen until the day of the fight? trying to stop people buying or pressuring them by not knowing who to target.

Surely even the richest people couldnt afford to bribe 12 people every fight?

Lol. You are comparing a split call of a very close and ugly fight in which Dirrell fought negative for 8 rounds to a clear Kotelnik win based on a round by round basis where local Don King judges gave Alexnader 8 rounds when he won like 4. Seriously?

I disagree with the Dirrell-Froch outcome like you, but the split nature of the international judges reflects well on the fight, the fans were also split. Williams-Martinez was also close and a majority decision and I had Martinez winning, but I can accept the outcome. What I can't accept however is the 119-110 score and guess who came up with that one - the local judge! We need independent international judges as a first step, then look into other things. Because no matter how qualified the local judges are, they can never fully get rid of their bias, it's only 'natural' that they are behind their guy.

But wait a minute... are you suggesting that Froch-Dirrell should've been judged by Nottingham judges? :think

It must give a home fighter a nice boost to see 3 american judges and a ref lining up for the fight, hes probably thinking to himself, no way im losing this one, all i need to do is finish!!

Dirrell fought like a boxer is supposed to. Unlike Kotelnik vs Alexander, Froch wasnt laying a glove on his face, body, gloves or otherwise. Alexander had is successes in the fight against Kotelnik, success you for some reason refuse to see, in a very close fight. That even compubox refects was close.

Froch on the other hand rarely laid even a hand on Dirrell.

Dirrell vs Froch was a far bigger robbery then Kotelnik vs Alexander. Which as I scored before, was a draw in my eyes.

In the Froch vs Dirrell fight. 2 judges somehow found 7 rounds to give him, guess from which continent gave the fight to Froch?

You are clearly a victim of an ignorant education and ideology. What the f*ck continents have to do with anything, nations in Europe have 10 times more hate toward each other than love. The UK is just another country for an Italian judge (they were enemies in WWII, remember?) just like the US is another country for a Mexican. Are you suggesting that Canadian and Mexican judges are biased for Americans as well as American judges are helping Mexicans and Canadians because they share the same big land?

The "neutral" mexican judge scored the froch dirrell fight 114 - 113 for dirrell, as close as you can get and the correct score i think, both guys in that fight were hopeless imo but dirrell was only marginally less hopeless than froch, kotelnik on the other hand fought a great fight landing more and better shots throughout the fight, bid difference and went down to a lopsided UD, hhhhmmmm
