Pascal did say his fav fighter is RJJ but other than athleticism, I don't see anything else in common. Accuracy? no Beautiful combinations? no he's sloppy. He's a good fighter and I'm a fan of both Pascal & RJJ but I would never say he's "the next RJJ" because that's a lie. Still good but not really comparable to a prime Jones Jr.
Well he is black? I have yet to see a LHW/SMW that should even be mentioned in the same sentence as RJJ as far as skill and style go.
Well i don't think anybody would suggest that Pascal is as good as Roy Jones but a lot of people have compared their styles. Frankly, i've never seen much in Pascal's style that reminded me of Jones. I think it's just one of things that someone said once, someone else took over and from there it just became sort of it's own reality.
Jean likes to fight with his hands low while moving in the ring. He takes that from his idol RJJ. The only other thing that he tries doing the same is the way he throws his left hook. Hands low and all of a sudden he lets it go from no where. All in all, he obviously has less speed, athleticism, reflexes and talent. Steward just meant that he tries to somewhat mimic the RJJ style..
