My point is that we will have the best Irish boxers fighting each other now that the title is being contested more frequently and like Adam82 pointed out they can only fight who's here, unlike the Commonwealth title which should have the best of Britain, Australia, Canada and Africa fighting for it but more often than not title fights are between up and coming British fighters and some Afrobum, they may as well give it to the British fighters and cut out the formalities.
rob what about paulie hyland who went to italy to win the eu title or willie casey who went to canada to beat there 10-0 undefeated prospect or michael sweeney who is going to france to fight for the EU light heavy title next month ???
a good opponent, he is a powerfull boxer frampton, very capable of stepping up a class or 2, he had a decent opponent last time in bailey and he fought well, goodluck to him.:good
