If Shuumenov fights as recklessly as he did against Campillo and runs out of gas in the second half of each round, then he might take a horific beating by Cloud.
Unfortunately this is the only fight I've seen of this guy, but I've heard, that this his usual style. Maybe he can fix that, when he's more experienced.

Cloud was lucky to get a draw against Johnson. Shumenov would hurt him.

Personally, I think Shumenov sucks. I don't have a problem with this fight, but I'd like to see my boy Chris Henry get his shot @ Shumenov since Chris won a WBA eliminator against Garay. I don't have a problem seeing Tavoris knocking Beibut out though.

Shumenov looked a lot better recently against Uzelkov, but he is not yet in the same league as cloud.

I think this Cloud would stop Shumenov in a FOTY candidate. Great clash of styles there.

Anybody who had Johnson beating Cloud really knows jack **** about scoring a fight. Tavoris was the rightful winner.

Potentially a great fight, but I think Cloud's defense is just a little better and that when he punches in combination, he's more explosive. Cloud by close decision or late stoppage.

I believe Shumenov is tied up for a while though. He has to rematch Campillo next, and then the winner of that one needs to face Chris Henry.

I like Shumenov on points. There was a marked improvement in his performance against Uzelkov, which was the first time he's had a full training camp to focus on fighting since he hired a co-promoter. I also think he's faster than Cloud and despite Cloud having so many more fights, Shumenov's fought the tougher competition so far.

Cloud gets hit too much from fighters without much speed to make me think he would be able to defend that well against Shumenov, which is a key to beating him. Shumenov has his own openings for Cloud to exploit as well, which is why I think it'd be such a good fight. Shumenov gets hit and though Cloud's power is a little overstated compared to his resume, he still certainly packs enough punch to do some damage.

i'll take shumenov, dont like what I see from cloud TBH...however it would be a good fight because I'm not too high on either...i think shumenov is kind of stuck in between, being that he is not a great boxer nor is he a great slugger, his conditioning seems poor and he does not seem to take punches well...cloud on the other hand is a good slugger, but i dont see much boxing skill from him.
