Lets say Warren has the same £5 from every PPV deal that Haye has, and that he takes 80% of the gate from the NEC after a site fee. How much will it take for the card to make a profit.

Fighters purses (please note I am being generous with the purses for the purpose of the thread)

    Barker vs Macklin £125,000*
    Rhodes vs Konceny £100,000
    Cleverly vs Murat £150,000
    Macceranelli vs Frenkel £100,000
    Brook vs Jennings £100,000
    Chisora vs Sexton £80,000
    DeGale vs Dilks £85,000
    Gavin vs Kelly £35,000
    Undercard (Broadhurst, Heffron.....) £50,000

*Barker vs Macklin only confirmed purse

Add in costs of advertising, staff, legal fee and other t&cs at £200,000

    Total costs = £1,000,000

The arena holds 12,000, lets say they sell 10,000 at and average of £70 a ticket. If he is getting half the cash from each ticket sale that makes £560,000. Add in £140,000 from merchandise and Sponsership. Thats leaves £300,000 to to make in PPV sales.

If Warren is getting £5 from each PPV, he will need to sell 60,000 ppv's to break even. He would need to sell 230,000 ppv's to make a a £1million pound profit.

I would say based on them estimates about 100k + but then I do not think they are acurate guestimates, I would say Cleverley Vs Murat is closer to 80k for the split and chisora vs Sexton would be about 50k split, Brook Vs Jennings 30-40k split, Degale and Gavin on a set amount and their opponents on about 10k at most. Heffron on about 5k with ticket sales on top and so on.

Cleverly vs Murat is a world title eliminator purse bids for those are worth quite allot. Plus Warren must of paid allot to get Murat and Frenkel over here from Sauerland. Cleverly, Brook and Chisora signed new deals with Warren so there going to be getting paid very well. Warren fighters generally get paid the most so I have been generous.

Perhaps he has done a deal with his fighters where their pay varies depending on the number of buys because if he needs 130k buys, think he is struggling

Bit of a pointless thread as you don't have the actual purses. It's pure speculation.

As for the ticket money, Warren will receive the vast majority of it, not 50%. The NEC will get a set fee plus a percentage of food and drink sales.

There are many other things to take into account like food, drink, programmes, mechandise, sponsorship. They all add up. But you don't have the purses so it's all a little pointless.

Yea very nearly spot on there mate, the LG will get all money made from the services they provide ie food and drink will 100% go to LG. The normal gig is the venue gets paid a pre-agreed amount from the ticket sales and anything above that would go to the promoter, in this case Warren. All merchandise, programs etc is made and sold by the promotion and therefore the money goes to them.

With a massive marketing drive likely to take place soon, hopefully the stacked card remains in tact and all involved will get a good pay day and us fans a good night. Its not a pointless thread its good to speculate but unless we know all the figures that all we can do right now
