Fully aware Maidanas his mandatory, you didnt specify in your previous post. As I said he's faced a mandatory and a voluntary, common sense says he ought to fight Maidana. Boxing common sense ie $ and protecting it says Marquez. This is boxing, GBP are investing big in this kid and hes got 7-8 years in his career they aint gonna chuck the money down the pisser putting him with a Bradley/Alexander/Maidana now as much as we'd like it. Khan aint the problem, he'd take the fights its the nature of boxing im afraid

I dont mind if he faces a big pucher , gets punched and wins a UD. I just want to see that chin tested.

He/they have had plenty of time to line up the fight...he should fight Maidana or vacate the title...end of.

Its a very artificial way to hold a belt-hand picking lighter punchers that dont really test him, just to hold the title for as long as possible...makes a bit of a mockery of the title.

I have less respect for him every time I hear of him/they lining up another lw to come up in weight to fight him, instead of fulfilling his mandatory. Theres plenty of genuine lww's that want to fight him, and its looking like he's running scared of them.

What a ridiculous question. As long as he fights tough competition I really couldn't care.

His chin has been tested several times and failed. If he faced a puncher now he'd be testing the improvement in his skills, technique, defence and ability to concentrate for the duration of the fight under Roach.

There were negotiations for him to fight Michael Katsidis and John Murray

Out of boxing season, he's during Ramadan... no not really. It made boxiing sense to fight Malignaggi as a first fight in the states as he's name means more over there than Maidana and yes, of course, the fact he couldnt punch a hole in momma's sponge cake was a factor. You havent paid attention to what I said. He's done a voluntary, he's done a mandatory surely we gotta wait until they decide who his next opponent is/even the 1 after that before slating him.

You keep saying he's scared, wants to fight lw's etc yet you clearly dont understand ITS NOT HIS CHOICE!!! It aint like hes Floyd bloody Mayweather and can pick whoever he wants. its all down to GBP and the t.v peeps and face it, JMM will bring alot more of his Mexican homies to the venue/buy the fight than a Maidana scrap would whether we'd like to see it or not

When Khan was a LW??...besides the way you worded the statement it sounded like he had fought them and not just engaged in "negotiations" that never came to fruition.

I agree with pretty much everything you said here but hasn't the wba made a mockery of itself already?

No, when Khan was LWW and both Katsidis and Murray were lightweight (both sets of negotiations took place after the Malignaggi fight). Katsidis and Murray both wanted to fight him, but Khans camp said they wanted too much money...Katsidis feels Khan is ducking him.

Yeah I reckon Khan Vs McCloskey would definitely be a great fight, if it'll ever get organized i'll go
