I'm afraid that you're right.. Unlike Sonnen Randy can finish you while you're on you're back more often than not. As much as I want to see that fight I don't think I can afford two PPVs in one month :verysad
Escept CS actually won the stand up battle. Now admit it, who saw that coming? RC will not even try to throw anything in order to get in a position to take JT down, he wont need to, You have the best takedown man in the biz against an absolute novice and the difference is you can force a fight to the ground but you can't force a fight to remain as stand up when you have zero experience of takedown defence.
randy will clinch toney when he sees the perfect opportunity... push him till toney's back is in against the cage... do his specialty "dirty boxing" till toney gasses out... go for a takedown... win the round/go for the gnp/work on a submission.
Indeed and if he does it's over. Finished. Then the MMA crowd will be playing the victory down...but if Toney jumps over to MMA and takes out a fight of Randy's quality in an octagon, that sucks for the UFC. It would be humiliating.
what was mr white thinking! i know he isn't very smart but when gambling you have to look at the risk / reward percentage and this is a fail no matter what. toney wins and mma is a joke, if toney losses mma is still a joke. matching an over the hill ex steroid boxer with no mma expeirience against one of the legends of the sport
Thats what Dana thought: it's a MMA fight, MMA rules Toney doesn't have takedown defense and kicks small gloves less brain damage with small gloves but I think Toney still has a chance :bbb
