Well he can't pull a Pacuiao...A fighter coming off a loss, that hold NO belt. That good ol' double standard would appear again. Media/Fans are different when it comes to Floyd. While Pac fights a unheard-of African with NO belt and coming off a loss...Floyd had to fight a Future HOFamer who held a Lineal Belt....ANYONE ELSE WOULD BE "FODDER" for the "mainstream" media and the ESB Idiot Bunch!!!

I am not sure who he'll fight...but It has to be a 'NAMED FIGHTER". Khan, Martinez, Williams, Sturm.

somehow, this would be another ****-up. pac could retire after this year or floyd would get another tune-up before fighting pacquiao. the perfect time is now. what are they waiting for, for them to be out of their primes or when someone has slowed down?

Geesus, it's almost like a mob going after Floyd now. Arum and the gang are basically forcing Floyd to fight in May 2011. That lil coward can't escape now, they're all after his ass. He can't possibly be that true of a ducking coward, can he?

I'll believe it when I see it.

I don't believe Mayweather has any intentions of fighting Pacquiao, for whatever reason.

Pacquiao is a totally different beast than Mosley. Ask Miguel Cotto.

Hey, if Floyd steps up and fights Manny, I'll give him all the credit in the world.

If I were in a position where most of my marketability was based on the fact that I was undefeated; I wouldn't want to get in the ring with Pacquiao, either.

Most WW don't want to get near them.

And you think JMM was a tougher tune-ups for WW.

People forget that the mix of Bob Arum and Top Rank, Oscar De La Hoya and Golden Boy, Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather all have careers intertwined with one another....all have had lawsuits against one or more and have at one time or another virtually hated the others. The jumbled mess needs a Don King to step in and be the "fixer".
