Bigger effect: Marquez at 144 limit or Margarito at 151 limit?

Who cares about the Marquez fight right now?

Pac is the one fighting for another bull**** title (his 8th OMG!! GOAT!) at a catchweight negating Margo's advantage as the bigger man.

I was honestly looking forward to watching Pac beat up Margo but am starting to want Margo to pull off the upset just for shits and giggles.

What's the point of the fight though? It's so Pac can have the 8th weight title feather in his cap. It's horse****. He should be fighting someone else at 140 or 147.

Don't jump up in weight if you are going to make your opponent bend over backwards.

 

it'll benefit margo too though, at 154 he's even slower, so i dont really care about this catchweight at all......

Margo is slow at 147 too.

May/Marquez was bad but the catchweight was originally designed to make it more reasonable for Marquez. Mayweather couldn't get down and it turned into a sham, whatever. Mayweather does not ask his opponents to drain when he fights them. He had Mosley by the nuts and could have made a catchweight of 145 if he wanted to but he left it at 147. He fought DLH for the title at 154, he came in at 150.

Pac's legacy will be affected by this. He's against drug testing because they are not under the NSAC guidelines yet he makes his opponents weigh whatever he wants them to weigh. Hypocrite if I have ever seen one.

The fights fine anywhere from 147-154 and Marg should be in great condition.. But theres no logic behind these guys fighting for a title..

Why not fight at 147 let Manny defend his strap at a weight where Marg was one of the best welters of this generation?? I think both guys lose something moving up in weight.. But we''ll have to wait and see.
