After what happened in last Saturday's HBO card, with two fights identically scored by the judges, let's take a look at the judges for tonight's bout:

    John Keane(U.K.) Judge since 1994

    -Most recent notable fight:
Aydin vs. Dan Ion(116-111 for Dan Ion, Aydin won by SD)

    Other notable fights:
-Wonjongkam vs. Kameda(116-112 for Wonjongkam, won by MD)
    - 2009: Diaconu vs. Pascal I(116-112 for Pascal, won by UD)
    V. Klitschko vs. J.C. Gomez
-2008: Peter vs. V. Klistchko(80-72 for Klitschko at stoppage time)
-2007: Kessler vs. Andrade(120-108 for Kessler, won by UD)
-2006: Baldomir vs. Mayweather Jr.(120-108 for PBF, won by UD)
-2005: Barrera vs. Peden(118-109 for Barrera, won by UD)

*Judging a bout for both fighters for the 2nd time

    Jack Woodburn(Canada)

    -Most recent notable fight:
    Bute vs. Miranda

    Other notable fights:
-Berto vs. Quintana(68-64 for Berto at stoppage time)
    -2009: Pavlik vs. Espino
Diaconu vs. Pascal I(116-111 for Pascal, won by UD)
Froch vs. Taylor(106-102 for Froch at stoppage time, other judges had Taylor ahead 106-102)
Bradley vs. Holt(115-111 for Bradley, won by UD)
    -2008: Berto vs. Rodriguez
Dawson vs. Johnson I(116-112 for Dawson, won by UD)
-2007: Forrest vs. Piccirillo(98-90 for Forrest at stoppage time)
    Dawson vs. Ruiz
-2006: Taylor vs. Ouma(118-110 for Taylor, won by UD)

*Judging for the 8th time a fight for Pascal, Dawson for the 3rd time

    Gerald Ritter(U.S.A) Judge since 1996

    Most recent notable fight:
    -Rojas vs. Espadas

    Other notable fights:
-2005: Wonjongkam vs. Naito(68-64 for Wonjongkam at stoppage time)
    Mayweather Jr. vs. Bruseles
    -2001: J.L. Castillo vs. Yuh

*Has never scored a bout in which either Pascal or Dawson is involved

After seeing the resume of the past 5 years(excepting Ritter) do you think the judges will play a huge role in the fight??

I'm going with Dawson 116-112, but his boring style may get it closer on the cards.

just to point out, most fans agreed with John Keans scorecard. Clearly a good judge.

there a US judge, a Canadian and one from the UK. No problem. Perosnally all title fights should have 3 neutral

I agree, but the canadian one will have it closer for Pascal(pending how it goes) because he has seen too much from Pascal will have the tendance to favor him. Ritter without experience basically and Keane I have no problem with him.

The British judge seems good, most had Ion beating Aydin.

The Canadian doesn't seem quite so good, I don't know of anyone apart from him that had Froch beating Taylor before the stoppage. Dawson-Johnson 1 seems too wide as well, but otherwise fairly solid. There's a Canadian, an American and a neutral judge so I don't think it will be a big deal.

Regardless, I expect Dawson to win a very wide decision anyway.
