Jean Pascal is a watered downed, canadian roy jones, Dawson wins easy (video)

These two guys are not in the same league as far as Speed, Footwork, discipline and overall talent. Dawson is just more talented than Pascal. Pascal's chances are slim and none and the slim is for a hometown decision where dawson is clearly winning but the crowd is cheering for pascal's missed swings, thus confusing the judges (like dirrell lost to froch).

Them more pascal presses to knock dawson closer he comes to being knocked out. This will not be an all out war. There will be alot of action but pascal will not have it in him to bring it the whole time. He will be cautous for the most part with his punches. I think he will let some airball flurries go when he has dawson cornered and he feels dawson is in full defense mode. As far as setting things up, I think pascal won't be able to do that without paying for it halfway through the set up.


As for all these people comparing him to jones. The names shouldn't even be spoken in the same sentence whether talking styles, attributes, mentality or skills. The both posses far different things that go to making themselves the fighters they are/were.

 

Roy Jones is Jean Pascal's idol. He probably tried to emulate his style a bit growing up, but then again, what do I know! ;-)
