I voted Mugabi because in a test of chins I think Mugabi's is sturdier. Granted Tito was a better boxer, but he was also a warrior and I think that would be his downfall. Mugabi by late KO trailing on the cards.

Let me clarify my statement.

Hagler ruined 'the Beast' and took eleven rounds doing it while administering a severe beating in the process. I'm saying the Mugabi that agreed to fight Hagler had a sturdier chin. Not post-Hagler Mugabi.

i can agree with your logic. but although tito was down several times early in fights, with the exception of vargas and bhop i dont recall seeing him hurt.

 

You're probably right, but I'm thinkin' that Mugabi hit waaaaay harder than Vargas and probably B-hop as well. I'm not pullin a Rico on ya' saying that Tito was china-chinned, but (imo) John had the nickname 'the Beast' for a reason.
