Dawson's Promoter: Pascal's Headbutt Was Intentional

Shaw says a lot of stupid things. Most of it should be laughed at or just completely disregarded.

 

With all his skills Dawson is just a sorry loser - cry baby. I suggest a fight between him and Ward to learn to protect against head butts. Fight will take place in Germany and referree will be Marlon Wright.

 

He should have a fight with Ward to see what an intentional head butt really is.

 

Dude, I have seen some bad cuts, but Dawson's was horrible in terms of bleeding. His was gushing blood. It was not dripping or anything else you want to call it. And the butt was unintentional.

 

Dawson gave everything he could in the first 30 seconds of that 11th round and Pascal took it and kept coming. There's no way in hell Dawson was gonna stop Pascal when he just blew his load like that.

 

I do not think it was intentional. I, however, have to agree that Pascal was in trouble in the 11 th. round. It was a close fight and it is bad it had to be disrupted this way. I think that a rematch would be fair.

 

What's funny is this fight reminds of the Khan/Barrera typical British circus show. At least these guys knew the cut was over the line and had to stop it. Barrera suffers a FAR WORSE cut and the damn COMMENTATOR points out that this fight should have stopped immediately as he sees it after round one. Yet a doctor doesn't even take a look and they let it go on to avoid a beer bash from the drunken crowd.

The headbutt was not intentional, but the stoppage was definetly intentional. It was meant to make sure Pascal won. In any other hi profile fight with so much online Dawson would fo been allowed to continue since only 1 1/2 rds were left.

Also does'nt the WBC have a rule when an accidental butt occurs, a point is deducted from the unhurt fighter??? It still would not of made a difference, but still.

The ref did not mention it nor did Harold Letterman.
