Personally, I thought it was a very good fight. Though I'll admit it was somewhat frustrating to watch at times with Dawson's work rate (or lack thereof I should say) and Pascal only exploding in sporadic bursts. But for the most part I found the fight to be enjoyable, even though the abrupt ending may have robbed us of some late round dramatics. I usually don't mind Larry Merchant, hell most of the time he's hilarious to me, but last night I found him to be irritating and didn't share his views of the fight. I'm curious to know how other posters felt about the entertainment value of this particular fight...
I thought it was quite good, not a classic. But to see the underdog come good like he did and put it on Dawson was great to watch.
I thought the fight was 'entertaining' (between mildly and very entertaining). Good fight, good refs and judges (except the 108-101 dude), good coverage, good winner, bad loser.
Mildly entertaining, IMO. (Tho I did like the decision & agree 100% with Pascal winning) That said last weeks fight's & this Sat. make me miss the day's of the K.O.
For me it was mildly entertaining but highly frustrating. If I had bet on Pascal, it would've been massively entertaining.
its jab chad dawson were talking about here he's never in an exciting fight and never will be he doesnt hav any killer instinct its that simple
