My problem with Brook is that he thinks he's a superstar.

Every non-glass jawed fighter has taken him the distance easily. Ernie Smith (RIP) did it three times, as did Karl Taylor.

A lad that hasn't faced any of the top 5 or so welters in the country should not:

    1. Have a Lonsdale for keeps
    2. Be anywhere near #1 in any rankings org

It's debatable he's even the best welterweight in his own ****ing gym

McIntyre was top 5 at the time and people on here fancied him to win. Lomax was around there. the polish guy has been under rated.

Yeah, McIntyre was really the champion when Brook faced him - still chinny though.

Lomax was fringe top 5 at best and very average..... the Polish guy was shocking, got a gift MD against a 2-15 fighter in his next contest apparently.

Top 5 welters now, in order

    Jennings
    Hatton
    Brook
    O'Donnell
    Watson

[Even though I think Watson beat O'Donnell]

    hatton probs ahead of jennings.

also barrie jones and michael lomax are very durable. Brook was the 1st stoppage loss for both.

Brook hasn't fought anyone. I fancy him to beat Jennings though.

Power can develop as time goes on - not stopping survivalist journeyman early on in his career is not a slate towards his power. Not that I think his punch power is all that great (you're not going to see him start scoring one punch knockouts), but it commands respect.

I have said it to you before, but McIntyre - no matter if he had a 'glass jaw' or not - was a top 5 domestic welterweight when Brook faced him. Barrie Jones was a late replacement when Brook won the vacant title, Elwell shouldn't have fought him and Lomax was a top 10 Welter (is still number 9 with BN). Not the best collection of fighters to win the British title for keeps, but it's not as bad as you're making out. Young Mutley was scheduled to face Brook God knows how many times but for whatever reason it never took place, and we all know the Jennings saga.

And no, he shouldn't be ranked highly by the organisations, but it's a pretty common theme that we've all seen before.

    Behave :yep

I'm looking forward to the Enzo fight seeing as he's a local guy where I live. What do you all know about his opponent? I've never seen him fight.

    Cleverly-Murat for me.

We are going to see where exactly Cleverly stands in the grand scheme of things at 175.

I honestly think if he loses this then he needs to fight and defend his EBU title.
