I watched the Garcia-Lock fight again. As the announcers pointed out: Garcia had the peekaboo defense working so well that his face was unscathed. Garcia got his jab going inside the lefty Lock's right guard. Garcia had no side to side or head movement. What I could see was that both fighters showed no tiring. The whole fight went imbalanced because only Garcia could land damaging punches. Garcia's defense was impenetrable to Lock, but would not have been to a Floyd Mayweather. Someone lightning fast could hook around the peekaboo.
