Your phrasing "....Kessler even said.." pops up in several folks posts on the subject. I just don't think it's really interesting in comparison to what actually happened. There are reasons to believe MK might have covered up to avoid loosing a giant pay-day. Even though the contract he signed with the Warren camp was supposed to protect both fighters financially in case of pre-fight injuries it seems the Palle camp never in actual facts believed in these assurances.
So it seems like Mikkel (much like Adamek against Chad Dawson) was not 100% for this fight at all, as the rumours suggested pre-fight. Still doesn't change the fact that he lost to a 36 year old man. :hey
Yeah, can't believe people having unnecessary operations done just to make an excuse. Lucky Kessler didn't get knocked out or he would have had to have a heart transplant or something just to find an excuse :nut
Are you seriously ******ed? atsch He fought with a damaged hand and now needs an operation on it, how does this make him a joke? :huh
:huh For those of you who think he's getting an operation just so he has an excuse - no, nevermind, it's a lost cause.
http://www.bt.dk/article/20071114/sport08/711140384/ hes gettin it done next week. they will remove som scaretisue that has been troublin him for guite som time.he says he will be fit in a couple of month.
http://www.bt.dk/article/20071114/sport08/71114010/ in this one betina palle says that it didnt make any diffrence in the fight so it isnt ment as an excuse from kessler.
Is there bone damaged or is it one of them minor operations that can be done anytime(eg. carpel tunnel syndrome)?
going in there were reports that kessler might have had deep bruising to his hands. not sure how you or what you operate on for deep bruising ? but he would have had a cortisone injection beforehand if it were hurting and you do not feel a thing . the number of fights calzaghe had where he never hurt his hands are minimal its an occupational hazzard.
