Exactly, the judges set up the Williams win even though the majority of fans had Martinez winning the fight.
Why are you putting words into my mouth. Oh yeh, trying to move the goalposts again to try and substanciate your pathetic arguement that carries much less weight than mine.
Some may go down after officially "winning" (Alexander for example). But its not about this fight with Martinez only. There is seen a trend in Paul Williams fights that he boxes worse, or opponents find the way to get him. Judging him after his last fights, he is a big question mark and need more fights to prove. He has good resume and was awesome fighter at 147, but in his natural weight ( he doesnt look like 147 was his natural weight) he doesnt have that big height and reach advantage over opponents. He was just a freak of nature at 147- had a huge size advantage- not that great boxer at all.
As it would have been no matter how badly Martinez beat him. Anything short of knocking him out cold and Williams had it in the bag. That was one of the most outragous and blatant fixes iv ever witnessed.
WRONG, NBA, as always... Anyways, for what it's worth, I still think he's way overrated but will give him the benefit of the doubt until the Martinez rematch.... btw, he was clearly losing against Cintron, but s**t happens.. he should rematch Cintron as well!
