War Rahman

Rahman will always beat his current standard of opponent.B fighters will always beat D fighters.

 

Oh please. It's the same old **** time and time again, Rahman beating some sub-par club fighters and then somehow getting a title-shot because he KOed Lewis 27 years ago..
This has been going on for years now. And we all know what's going to happen if he faces a halfway credible opponent: he's either going to get KTFO again - or he just quits...

 

Guys who couldn't shatter Rahman's "glass jaw":

David Tua (second fight, and he wasn't exactly out cold the first one either)
Wladimir Klitschko (one knockdown, stopped on his feet)
Monte Barrett
Kali Meehan
Corrie Sanders

And the guys who have knocked him out have all been well-known huge punchers.

Nobody's going to claim Rahman has a good chin, but this notion that he has a glass jaw is straight BS. Sometimes you'd sound smarter if you just shut your mouth.

 

Was at the fight this past weekend. He didn't look bad at all. Damon Reed definitely didn't want to engage too much. He was on his bike quite a bit, and when Rahman did get close, Reed would tie him up.

Ya, Damon Reed is a blown up Cruiser, and not a very good one at that, but Hasim looked alright, both physically, and in the ring.

 

Since Haye is scared of facing either of the Klits or Adamek, I wouldn't mind seeing him risk his shaky chin against Rahman.

 

I have a video. I will see if I can post it later. Reed wasn't playing possum. He knew as soon as he opened up, he was going to get hurt.

 

He'll be okay so long as he stays the HELL away from those DAMNED KLITSCHKO BROTHERS!

 

Yes, yes, Joe Louis, America cries for you...but Rahman will answer the call. Now that he's finally near prime he can defeat the glass chinned Wlad, make Vitali quit, and unify the division. Maybe well get Tua/Rahman III cuz Tua has earned his shot. Only Valuev and Haye can stop him...but if Rahman is motivated I just don't know..he knocked out Lewis.

The imposing avoided contender Elmer Ray....but evidently according to some of the the well educated posters in classics with absolutely no agenda to push.... he was smaller than Tyson, not feared, and with overrated power.

But lets talk about how Rahman is going to take the division by storm. I predict an entire top 10 shake up after Grant makes Adamek quit on his stool.
