IMO, Cloud seems to be a hungry young fighter...I expect him to do well in the next couple of years but when he meets a solid boxer that can transition his defense into offense, I think Cloud will be beaten!

Cloud tends to get wreckless at times...He depends on his power to much instead of setting up his power shots behind a nice jab.

He has the crowd pleasing style for sure!

I agree. Much luck to Tavoris, but his days are numbered.

Hey man I like the dude and he is doing his thing, just saying you can see flaws.

I didn't say the man to beat him was immediately available, but I have watched him for a while. The dude is not a hell of a boxer. He is strong and sloppy.

The loss will come. It will be spectacular.

I don't know why Cloud gets so much hate here; nobody said he was a future P4P king or some elite boxer. He's a guy who shows up for war and throws every punch with bad intentions. Can you be a fan of a fighter while admitting that he isn't invincible?

No hate on the man. He is very relevant in the scene today.

Hey Zab Judah is, was, and will be my favorite fighter. He is far from invincible. I can still say that his focus is spotty at times, his conditioning is a bit suspect, and he never lived up to his true potential.

Can we be fans and still have honest discussions?

I've enjoyed watching Cloud come up, but I agree, he is nothing special. There's no jump out of your seat part of his arsenal. But he comes to fight, and is in top shape. I can't ask for much more from a mid-carder.

I said it before, and I think it's true. Cloud reminds me of a LHW version of peak Miranda at 160. That's not a knock on Cloud. Peak Miranda was a freaking beast who fought 4 top ten middleweights in 8 months. He had a short shelf life, but Miranda was the guy BHop said would inherit his middleweight throne.

I do think Cloud is a bit more skilled, but the simlilarites are pretty clear. Like Miranda, as soon as Cloud runs into a "better bully" he'll take a beating.

lets go over this again for the delusional Tavoris Cloud fans

    1. Lacks stamina

    2. Not particularly powerful

    3. Fights in spurts

    4. One dimensional

He won a vacant belt fighting a shot Clinton Woods in a fight he largely struggled to ever establish himself. If he was any sort of hard hitting phenom he would have blasted Clinton Woods out of there, instead he was physically exhausted and bruised up.

This man would lose to any elite 168-175lber today in boxing.

no, he is just horrible.....i mean he was good enough to demolish clinton woods, julio gonzalez and beat glenn johnson...no matter how old he is...and win the IBF heavyweight title in the mix....
    stfu....youre just a damn hater

Vacant title. Demolish Clinton Woods? He beat him. Demolish however is reserved for the brutal beatdowns and submissions, not just outpointing a fighter over twelve.

Again reference the guy in your avatar. He knocked out champions like they were nothing. Thats demolishing. Cloud couldnt KO woods or glen Johnson even though he hit them flush 1,000 times.

I too think you are just a hater. Cloud is who he is. Furthermore, he still has yet to lose. When he loses maybe then you can critique the guy. Til then simmer down, pimpin. They all can't be Calderons, Wards, and, dare I say it, Mayweathers. I like Cloud- He reminds me of another fighter I enjoy to watch: Mr. Kirkland. Cloud isn't as aggressive as James, albeit they are somewhat similar in the sense that they are in your face.

He hasnt lost because his best comp so far has been Woods and Glen Johnson. He barely beat Johnson.

Pascal/Cloud be a VERY entertaining fight..... Cloud is a fighter. Even though he wasn't able to get Woods and Johnson out of there.... These are 2 very durable guys and Cloud was able to legitimately hurt these guys... Pascal is talented and has the speed and boxing ability BUT when he's in there with fighters, he does have some trouble... Froch.... he lost... even Omar Pittman, a Philly based journeyman, came back in their fight and had Pascal in trouble.. Cloud has a sturdy chin, good power, strong guy, and mentally he seems strong... Unlike Dawson or Pascal, when Cloud does have his man hurt, he is willing to go for the kill...
