Maximise income is a very bad argument.

Because if Dirrell his income stops....!?!?!

So for him the best long term income argument is to have ti in his hometown.

ABraham and Dirrell could of made more money if the fight was in Germany instead of Detroit but Abe fought in Detroit in fairness of the tourny. Ward needs to do the same as well.

I love the way Ward/Goosen do business. In boxing it's about self preservation. Boxing has always been about trying to gain every single advantage you possibly can over your opponent. You being a fan, you could care less, but when your a fighter you have to look out for #1 & your own best interest. It's about getting paid. They'll get paid more in Oakland than anywhere else. I'm very impressed with Goosen on his job with Ward. He's doing his job as a promoter & if I were a fighter, I would want him to do exactly what he's doing.

That is so true. It is obvious that Goosen is pushing the patience of everybody involved in the tournament to get every conceivable advantage for his fighter.

I think it is pretty obvious, that Goosen was also the one, who leaked the information about the tourney

I think most of the promotors in the tourney are pricks, but Goosen he really cuts the cake as the most corrupt and devious **** of the lot.

It'll be a flop here in the UK. Even Froch, our very own British fighter, has recieved ridiculously low attention for competing in this Super Six. Now if he can't garner any hype from the public, I highly doubt 2 random Americans (who aren't even that well known in their own country) will do any better. It'll be a mountain of a job and for it to even have a chance of success, it'll require hefty promoting, the type of promoting that would require the muscle of the Top Ranks, GBPs and HBOs...not a Goosen, Shaw and Showtime.

Ward is a joke. He only fights in his backyard. If all Super 6 fighters were like him, it would not be possible at all.

On schedule the degenerate has to post in this thread. Farmy, at what point in either of Wards fights was the fight even remotely close, was it when he was crushing Kessler like a bug or beating Allen Green like a redheaded stepchild?

Ward should fight fair and square and spank Dirrell in Detroit though to make sure the wohle dozen of Dirrells fans attend the show when that hypejob gets taken apart.:hey

Ward is a coward and does not deserve all the praise he gets, epsecially considering all the hate Froch got for wanting a neutral venue for his 3rd fight.

in this case, money shouldnt dictate the venue, the fairness of the tournament should. this would mean, that direll gets it in his backyard. So every fighter has atleast one fight away from home.

This fight will be just like the Guzman/Guerrero we just witnessed anyway.
