I suspect Dawson wins the rematch and does so easily. It is much too early to dismiss Bad Chad as either a fraud or a fake. The kid possesses big time tools. That they were not on display more prominently the other night speaks volumes about what apparently was transpiring between his ears.

He beat Dawson because Dawson just looked at him. Its not like Pascal was just schooling Dawson from post to post. He'd jump in, flurry, get out and Dawson would just continue looking at him. He didnt establish his jab, which was landing when he did throw it, and just followed Pascal around the ring, and when he did have Pascal hurt he just again looked at him.

Floyd Mayweather said Dawson was ******ed, and that Dirrell beat the **** out of him so bad that he had to pull him out of sparring. I believe it now.

I've noticed in one of his earlier fights against an awkward fighter(can't remember his name) he had the guy outta their but just let him live for a few rounds before taking him out with a straight. He is a safety guy like you said but I think he was thinking too much and throwing too less. Pascal's power may have surprised him too. Overall it was a great fight to me I'm going to rewatch it soon.

Yeah I've heard in another thread Dirrell whooped him. That's good/bad news for me because I'm a fan of Dirrell & Dawson(Pascal too lol). Anyways, still was his fault he should've let his hands go more. Despite his performance and crybaby antics, I'm still a fan of his and wish him the best. The better man won though Pascal didn't have him on mind control so Chad could think for himself and was doing too much of it. Only has himself to blame no one forced him to be passive it was something Pascal exploited. Jean was the hungrier fighter throughout the fight.

**** Pascal was probably surprised how easy it was. Like "**** I hit this dude and he just looks at me. Im fighting a ******"

I still like Bad, one of my favorite fighters but, that was disgraceful. Even Devon Alexander who was outclassed him boxing skill atleast fought to keep his titles.

On my end, the hate comes as a result of Dawson's lack of class after the fight. That was ridiculous. I can understand off nights, but blaming everything and everyone but yourself is garbage. He should have shown some class: http://bit.ly/9BPhka

Im starting to wonder if it was an off night for Dawson or if this is a sign of things to come from him... if hes lacking the hunger and heart to dig down and win fights, that sort of thing doesnt usually magically turn itself around just because of a loss. Hopefully this wakes up a fire in him though.

    Props to Pascal... :good

And i didnt know Dirrell whooped up on Dawson... interesting.

I'm a fan of Devon too MW and yes Devon threw many punches and showed heart. Chad was staring at Pascal and not throwing enough if I wasn't a Pascal fan too I would've been very frustrated. I think he showed too much respect for Pascal's power.

Hmm good point. A loss also doesn't make someone humble either.

Personally I don`t hate anyone but regarding Dawson I can`t appreciate a boxer who just proects his image, leaving a belt behind and fighting old agers.
Yes, professional boxing is business, but the boxers for who is just this will not be enterely respected ever.

Because he made excuses for his defeat and accused Pascal for the headbutt, saying it was intentionnal. Plus he bashed Michael Griffin at the press conference. And he is with Gary Shaw.

Because his style can be laid back and not fan friendly. Imagine the **** Mayweather would get? If he was such a hype job then Pascal gets no credit here really. I expected Dawson to win a wide UD so big respect for Pascal.

I agree with you and I'm a huge Pascal fan

My scorecard was 6-5 for Pascal and I think he would have won the 12th to make it 7-5.

But the thing is, instead of saying "Pascal proved he is amazing by beating Dawson" people are saying "Dawson proved he ain't **** by losing to Pascal"

that's why 99% of boxing fans are ****ing DUMB. Pascal vs Dawson was a rgeat fight between TWO AMAZING FIGHTERS and like in any fight there must be a winner and a loser.

I still have Dawson in my top10 p4p because even though Pascal beat Dawson I think that it was close and it was in Pascal's home town and also styles make fights. That doesn't erase that he beat Adamek, Tarver twice, and Johnson twice.

I can't wait for the rematch. And Dawson is still a top2 LHW.
