Doubt this is anything more than a rumor, but who do you got anyway?

I'm pretty sure that Jones' inactivity would get him into alot of trouble with Hide, atlough Jones has more than enough snap to put Hide to sleep.

But I'll say, Hide Tko10 Jones. (I wouldn't argue Jones Tko10 Hide, I can see a ko going in either mans favor)

I know Jones' is finally on the verge of being stripped so I'm curious to see who he will fight next.

    Thoughts?

And just another thing, this fight would at least be semi interesting, in the fact that IF Hide did win the Wba "title" he would be the first fighter to win a HW "title" then move DOWN, to hold a CruiserWeight "title" I believe.

I dont think so, Jones is going for a record for being a champion without fighting that's impossible to break.

Yea he is going on quite a streak there. I honestly thought he was already stripped, I didn't know the WBA was just now, CONSIDERING stripping him.

If that bout really comes off, I will be rooting for Herbie and I aso expect him to win.
But damn... almost 2 years without a defence and still champion?!? :huh

Jones will KO Herbie. Bet your house on it. Hide's chin is still as bad as it was all them years ago and his skills have eroded dramatically. He fights only on fumes now. Even a two year inactive Jones should still be able to deal with him.

Guilermo defends his title ones in every 5 years, so we should talk about this possible matchup in 2013

I can pretty much agree. The power is the last thing to leave a fighter, and I've noticed Herbie's ko rate has fallen off dramatically lately so he may have lost even more than I originally thought.

Forget about it, if this fight were to actuially come off (which I seriously doubt), Hide would get wrecked. Jones is one of the most underrated fighters above middleweight in the last 10 years.

QFT :thumbsup That man has spoiled so many partys its untrue. He was very unfortunate to get a draw with Johnny Nelson who spoiled for the entire fight unable to figure out Jones. Jones went on to destroy Arslan, Braithwaite ( in a very entertaining shoot out ) and Kelvin Davis. Bearing in mind he fights sporadically and made his debut at welterweight! I remember Ian Darke calling him the incredible expanding man.
